Jules segments are my favourite parts of TRG Colosseum. He's just...unable to do anything without being extremely extra, and it creates such great moments.
I suppose I should throw some context out there. Stephen brought the guys over to Waffle House after TRG Colosseum 2019 and he was gung-ho about showing their official album. Raisins in my Toast was one of those songs.
It's also a longtime twitch alert on Stephen and Mal's streams, so very iconic

I was playing "Captain Toad: Treasure tracker" while listening to this segment in the background, and hearing Carlos scream "WAFFLE HOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUSE" like toad made this segment so much funnier. I love this event so much.
It feels somehow appropriate that this is what was posted on April Fool's
The mashup was a compromise but the result was better than either choice would have been alone. Amazing.
Hopefully next year Tim will be able to provide his amazing abilities to this segment in person!

Today I learned how the Lonely Rolling Star intro sounds like the intro to Duck Tales.
In which Jules, Carlos, Sab, and Jack put a song together, this time live and in-person! This year’s pick is quite special as it’s a mash-up between a StephenPlays related-meme and a well-known video game theme from the previous two years.

These are always great, but Stephen's expressions at the end elevated the experience.
The fact that a mashup was allowed for this year's music making segment opens up a lot of possibilities for future years. As usual, this was so much fun to see the creation of a song come together! Another one for the Coloseeum album!
I'm so glad lucah was reading donations so she got roped into singing lol. She has such a nice voice 💕

I am so Glad this segment got more time this year! I'm sad to here we missed out on a Josh Banjo segment, but I absolutely love TRG makes Music! Other than art block its probably my second favorite recurring segment. its always complete Chaos each year. While I would have loved a full on Raisins in my Toast creation, I'm happy that we managed to get an interesting Mash Up this year! it was incredibly fun to watch this experiment be made! I hope the segment makes its return again next year!

This was probably one of my favourite segments this year. From Lucah singing to Jon somehow managing to glitch out Jules' computer to everyone nerding out over EQing to MC stopping the show to ask a Millionaire question to Stephen being absolutely confused by everything. This needs to stay. I already have a song in mind for next year...
