Best wishes on your surgery and recovery. My oldest daughter has had 7 total knee surgeries (5 of those ACL repairs-all from playing sports)…so I feel your pain. I love that your gals wrap up the podcast with books and what you are watching! My advice, GO GET THE PUPPY!!!!

I LOVE Liz's Temperature crochet...I carry Scheepjes in the shop (it took me a long time to figure out how it's pronounced...."scape-yes") It's WONDERFUL to crochet and knit with! LEANNE...you are enabling me again!! I finished my Koivua now...another colorwork on my list!!

Hi you two! Hey, I'm working on a Tunisian crochet honeycomb stitch shawl right now! It's my first time doing the stitch and I love the texture! My go-to easy crochet cowl that is so very pretty is Melanie Hamm's Easy Infinity Crochet Scarf. It's a super easy one row repeat and the texture it makes up is so gorgeous! I've made many for friends and they just love them.
That looks like the perfect pattern for me!! Thank you so much for the suggestion. I will cast one on today!

This is the first episode of yours I’ve seen. I heard Chevyrell talk about your podcast…so Hello! My favorite crochet pattern on Ravelry…and it doesn’t have a lot of projects and I don’t know why because it is amazing…is Thaden’s Asymmetrical Shawl. I think it’s like fingering weight but I’ve made it in fingering wt single and I’ve made it in a tweed sport weight and a worsted. It’s lovely. I don’t know what the stitch the use is called but it lays so nice and flat. I think everyone should try it. LoL
Once the garage door on my side was stuck but the other side opened. I decided there was enough space in my garage to turn around my car inside the garage and pull out the other side. I was almost out when I heard the dreaded scrape…my insurance agent hung the picture I took inside the garage on their bulletin board. Response was mixed between “what the bleep” and grudging respect that I got the car out with a small scrape.

OMG, I also have a hot PT! He helped me with my frozen shoulder a couple of years ago. He reminds me of the Freddie Mercury character in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. Oh, and there was a younger, taller, also good looking PT in that clinic too. They all have such muscles! 🔥

Sorry, another comment, because I'm breaking up watching your podcast over a couple of days. Anyway, I just finished listening to The Woman With the Blue Star by Pam Jenoff. It's about what the Germans were doing to the Polish Jews during WW2. It so hit home to me with what's going on in Ukraine right now. Made me sad. But I LOVED the ending. Great book overall. Now I'm listening to American War, set in around 2075, the global climate has turned really bad and the US is in the middle of a second civil war. I think after this one, I'll need to listen to something super lighthearted!
Would love to knit along on the pressed flower shawl. Mosaic knitting was my new to you skill this year. Maybe I could even plan on going to Rhinebeck for the first time. Would love to meet you in person!
