Our house is located on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, in the Hana Like neighborhood. It was built in 2017? I believe and is one of the newer built homes on base. I am in LOVE! We had a little more space in the bedrooms as well as a living, family and dining room downstairs. The bedrooms were spacious with 4 upstairs. This was all during the early to mid 80s. No open door plans though.
I have to say the master is definitely spacious here and I do love how open it is downstairs! The layout is a big awkward with the placement of the stairs but still beautiful!
@@BonniDiana I definitely like the openness of the downstairs. I was a kid living up on Ulapau Crater from late 82 to late 85.

Are you stay in this house or no
My family first house was in Earheart. It was a ranch house. I would walk to my school from my house. I also had a secret alley way to swing. I also went to a wood park to play sometimes and one time I saw a rainbow there after it rained. My second House the Gemini Avenue House Some time in 2006 or 2007 we moved into a two story house at Gemini. I remember riding my bike in our court and playing TAG games with my parents back in the day. This is also the neighborhood where I met my friends Gabby and Bethany who are now in Puerto Rico and Dayton Ohio.

Bonni PCs feb2022 is this on or off base? We are married e7 no kids AirForce can you tell me how far this home neighborhood from hickham where he is stationed to report? It’s my first marriage and PCs move I dont know anything at all but I have seen really old hickham on base off base housing and I live in beautiful home in CALIFORNIA so sad 😭 lol. I love your house how far is this from hickham I want this too!!
@@mahreel6585 hello! This is located on the marine Corp base in Kaneohe! It’s about a 30 minute drive to Hickam but I’m sure a little longer depending on traffic in the mornings. I do know Air Force is allowed to stay on this base but I want to say they have lower priority for a home. Hana Like had a waiting list of about 8 months when we applied and we are a Marine Corps family, so higher priority on this base specifically. I would definitely call the housing office and see about how long the wait would be and if the drive is worth it for your husband! 🙂 let me know if you have any more questions!

What’s the community/village called? And is it through Ohana Mil Communities or IPC? We PCS in July and just love your house!! Did you have to pay 2 months rent in advance? Thank you so much for sharing!!
Hi! This is with Ohana/Hunt housing, the community is Hana Like. And you pay rent in arrears so say you move in on the 10th, you would pay the prorated amount on the first of the following month! I hope that helps! ❤️

Hi!!! I’m glad you found me to! 🤗 the 7 month wait was before we arrived as well. So the moment I had web orders I applied for housing. I know every branch is different but my husband is margins corps so they allowed us to be on a waitlist prior to actually being on island! I hope that helps.

Hi just arrived on island and wondering how I can apply for this housing
Hi! So this is SNCO housing on the Marine Corps base. If you qualify, simply head to the Obama/Hunt military housing and follow the instructions to apply. I believe you can put a specific request for (Hana Like) but I want to say there is a bit of a wait. We applied as soon as we got orders and the wait was roughly 8 months for us. I hope this helps!

@@sherian3966 contact Ohana/Hunt Housing for Hawaii. You want to apply as far in advance as you can. The wait was 6 months to a year for us. We got in in 7 months.

I believe any branch can apply however I want to say that Marine Corps will take priority so it might be a longer wait.
