When I select the music button after “create reel”, my options don’t let me scroll down to see the heading “trending”… why is that?

But how do you use the sound if you upload the raw file to Metricool to schedule on each platform? It seems like you can only use the trending sound if you upload straight to the social platform. Or is Metricool ONLY for original video content?
When scheduling videos that you want to add trending audio to, we suggest setting the video to be "manually" published, and when it comes time to post you will receive a notification. From there you can make adjustments on the native platform! Hope this answers your question. 🙂

Thank you, but how do we use them when scheduling content in Metricool? Many times you can’t download the short form video with audio.
If you set up push notifications in our planner, you are able to add the trending sounds in natively as a finishing touch. If you are repurposing to Instagram, a lot of the times Instagram will detect the sound in the video and add it to the respective sound page!
@@metricoolapp so does it make the most sense to just manually publish Instagram, TikTok, YTS videos if trending music is a must? If that is the case what makes metricool better than just going in the app and doing it? If Audio is no issue then it seems super amazing and useful but because music can be such a huge part of short-form video content it seems just as bulky to go in each platform and just upload/schedule the content. Does this make sense. haha I love metricool but i am trying to work smarter not harder.
@metricool Do you have a video tutorial for that? The push notifications are set up on the web or the app? Where can we find the features you are mentioning? TIA
Push notifications are set up on the web version of the tool. When you are creating a post, you want to toggle off auto-publish and that will prompt you to set up how you want to receive the content for manual publishing, either via push notification or email. :) @@mlgatillon

Thanks for the info! I do have a question about YT....they used to show the number next to the audio/song for how many shorts it's been used in...but thats no longer the case? I know it was recommended to use audios that were under a certain usage. But with this change...is there any new info on that? or is this a hope for the best for of situation 😆

Hi, I don't seem to have the same options as you when creating a reel on ig, i dont have the music button like you do. Likewise i went through a lot of reels randomly and tried to find the trending sign next to the sound but it always just shows the music sign never the arrow up...Any idea what the reason could be? Thank you for your help in advance!

Hello! We have this option on both personal, creator, and business accounts! However, we have noticed that Instagram doesn't always roll out features all at once to everyone. We have some team members that have only the upwards arrow but not the music button. Here's hoping they release all the features to everyone soon. 🤞
Where on TH-cam can we find newly trending audios that hasn’t been used too much? ❤️
Hi Hanna!! Great question, so for both TH-cam Shorts and TH-cam Videos, if you film or upload from your mobile phone you can see in the 'Add Sound' section something called 'Released' and inside here are the 'hottest new songs every week' and it is updated every Friday! And then through the computer, you can view trending audios through 'Creator Music'! Hope this helps!!

You're welcome! Best of luck! :) We know that certain countries have different limitations and we hope they will eventually open up the feature everywhere! Another tipe would be to follow blogs/creators that update the trending sounds on a weekly basis. That is another avenue we use to try and stay on top of what is popular.@@hannaandfey :)

Great! I wish Metricool have ‘copy text to clip board’ function for manual posting process.
When you schedule manually with a push notification or email, you should be able to copy the text. :)
