Im curious how they are going to create the kings moveset because even though he is the cornerstone of every chess chess game he is virtually the weakest piece (other than the pawn), cant wait to play the game!

Could use nearby pieces as basic attacks. If there's no ally pieces around, then it would just be a very weak unit.

I'm not going to lie to you, this is absurd, and by absurd I mean that I'm interested.
Beyond the fight I want to know how certain movements would be carried out, mainly castling
I think that some good secret animations could be good to include, that their probability of occurring is very low

You can castle and en passant in the chess portion of the game! Secret animations to give a bit more personality is something we're looking at right now actually.

Is the attacker going to get an advantage in the fighting game section or would it be a standard fight because i think that would be a good idea at least for custom matches

The attacker gets the advantage by starting the fight with their ult! You can also get tag-assist if your other pieces are within range to increase your chances to win.
