- In this video, I talk about how the Mongolian Wok has changed on the Carnival Panorama (and possibly the other Vista class ships). Instead of being allowed to pick what you want and have them make it for you (like a traditional Mongolian Wok), you get a pre-made bowl of mostly noodles!

I agree whole heartedly!! Yeah i just sailed and was shocked at how terrible the noodles were. Borderline disgusting. Thankfully food quality at dinner was better. Almost didn't make a rsvp due to lunch experience.

@@han79045 - I have not been on a NYE cruise, but know people that have and said it was a lot of fun.
Carnival is revamping its entire menu on its entire fleet. In fact the whole cruise ship experience is changing from security to boarding. This time next year , we could see a whole different style of Carnival.
I just got off ten days on Princess from Alaska. Food was bland , but quality of meats etc were very high quality. Many complimentary items at international cafe. I rebooked Princess to Caribbean, in January. Price was better then Carnival. Shm.
I am looking forward to the new menu options. Unfortunately, in this case, it was not about quality. It was about them taking away the ability to select what you want (like a traditional Mongolian Wok and how they used to do it). :(
I sure hope your right they need to do something quick.
@@bigguy1403 - The Radiance is getting some of the new menu items next month. I will be on the 3-day (August 11th). I plan on making a video talking about it
@@TheBeachLife that’s a shame. I’m booked next year on Carnival from Seattle to Sydney. I’m also looking forward to the new menu. I will always be loyal to Carnival for its “come as you are” style. I have to admit, Princess really blew me away with many added extras. The best being high level of complimentary room service, able to order food or drinks to any location in the ship. Drink prices not bad. I’m not a drinker, but it was great ordering a glass of wine to my room while watching a movie.
St the end of the day, my Alaska trip was cheaper then Carnival to Alaska, my upcoming trip to Caribbean on Princess for balcony plus 100 spending was a better deal then Carnivals outside cabin with no spending on board. I will always check Carnival first.
In the end I still love my All Inclusive. Lol

@@georgemaltese - Always a pleasure engaging with you as well. I will always enjoy Carnival for what it is, but that doesn't mean I won't point out areas that I feel they can improve. I would expect the same for myself when we open our business. I do have to admit that we were spoiled by our first all inclusive resort experience and I think moving forward that is what we will do when the wife and I have our vacation together and with our girls. Cruising will continue to be my hobby and will just do it my friends.
Every time I hear reviews of food it seem carnival is cheeping out on there food…..
Yeah, it's unfortunate, but I don't cruise other lines to know if they are doing the same. What I can compare it to is the all inclusive resort we went to in May and it blew Carnival out of the water in regards to options, quality of food, availability of food, etc. Not to mention the alcohol, coffee, desserts, etc. were all included as well.
@@TheBeachLife Was the all inclusive resort more expensive?
@@passiveinvestor1978 - I believe it was $1500 for our Thursday to Monday trip. Of course that doesn’t include the flight and transportation down to the resort.
@@TheBeachLife All inclusives seem like they're better than cruises but when I look at the prices I'm reminded why I stick to cruises so I'm like ehh I'll just fly to Long Beach.
Yeah, I haven’t done a true cost comparison. It might not be a better deal, but I know the wife is done with cruising, so it will be all inclusives when traveling with her 😃
