    Our family recently ate at the Mongolian Wok on the Carnival Freedom and we give our thoughts of it. Have you ate here before? We've heard mixed reviews and even within our own family we had mixed thoughts. Please give us your thoughts in the comments!

    You need a meat, at least three of these, (yellow, green, white and orange veggie), noodles, an egg and some oil.
    You can add any sauces after if you so choose but usually the oil choices are seasoned. That's how it is at shore based woks I've been to. I assume it will be the same on the cruise.

      The menu has actually changed where it is a menu and you pick. You use to make your own bowl and they cook it for you....now you choose from a list.

      @@luvysfatlife Hopefully that's a good thing. I liked being able to put it together myself though.
      Thanks for the info. ;)

    I love Mongolian grill. The more spicy the better. Thanks for your view. Maybe it was the add ons.

      Thanks for your thoughts! Maybe just a bad day? Nothing exciting for us with it. It smelled really good. I thought it would be much better. I think next time I’ll keep it very simple with meat and noodles.

      @@luvysfatlife meat and noodles is ok. I was on the Carnival Magic when I tried it. I had a little help from someone giving me hints of what combinations and tastes. Try it again. It’s what your taste buds like. I love grilled veggies. I did the chicken with the spicy one.

    I would've gotten the only sauce you guys didn't try. Szechuan for me. We have a Mongolian Grill here in town. Steve doesn't care for it so we don't go. I've only gone with my sister before but, love that sort of thing.

      I love “hot” items, but it concerns me on a seaday and I’m flying back the next day 😉😂. I cannot be making trips to the bathroom regularly if an issue 😉😂🤣. Thank you for watching.

    when i went to eastern carribbian back in december last year - mongolian wok was done in jiji's - no custom made stir fry - everything premade.

    Looked too watery for me. I’m used to Mongolian wok dishes being cooked hot and fast to lock in crispness and preserve taste of the ingredients.

    Hi my friends! I just got off a 5 day Mariner of the Seas and have Carnival Freedom coming up in 3 weeks! I wish you all could be onboard with me! I always enjoy your vlogs and learn something with each one! I wasn’t aware of the Mongolian Wok and I’m going to Google it to see suggestions for combinations of veggies, noodles and sauces! Maybe I can up your and Michelle’s ratings! Way to go Anthony! What an adventurous boy you are trying new and (sometimes) exotic foods!💕👍. I was looking at the steakhouse menu/prices…do you guys think it’s worth it?

    • @luvysfatlife
      @luvysfatlife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Hazel, we’d definitely do the Steakhouse again! Well worth it in my opinion! The Wagyu Steak was phenomenal and the cheesecake was out of this world. You may have to take it back to the room with you! Don’t forget to book today to save the few dollars! They are going up on prices after today!

    Good review! I might give it a try next cruise maybe. Anthony’s did look the best! Was the meat cooked all the way?

    • @luvysfatlife
      @luvysfatlife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the meat was already cooked….when they added to wok and added juice or water it “steamed” it to me and it had more of a steamed taste to eat. This is why I wasn’t a big fan of it.

    They expect you to be a chef and know what goes good together. I would have to go through that line a dozen times before I stumbled on to a combination that tasted good.
