@@m.s.b.8929 Got it and am flattered that you considered me to see it... thank you. I enjoyed it... did you notice the difference between playing it with the camera on? Takes a little getting used to... If you want to discuss further I can do so on email....best and keep going!
Beautifully played and supper interesting. It is one of those acknowledged masterpieces I must have heard a million times, most of those of my now nearly ruined vinyl, and as beloved as I hold it, it is also one of those where honestly you can barely detect a bassline on the original recording. So, imagine my surprise to see you playing a D sharp to a C sharp, among other unexpected but absolutely spot in changes (like F sharps to F naturals on the way again to D sharps). So perfectly fits the solemn, melancholy tenor of the piece that whatever the original line is (and maybe you are playing it and didn't come up with your own?), this is got to be THE one.
Ken - when I wrote the song notes in the back of my mind I had this inkling you'd be providing your very spot on insights... thank you. Yes, the bassist for the recording was either not given an amp or a jack chord so I really had a challenge matching up the tab. Thank you yet again for adding so much to the channel!🎸
Thank you for this. I am using it to learn the song, soon i will try to record it.
