@@BAsed_AFro yup, there’s a float ball that I believe sits in oil pump and it gets stuck open. If you’re not riding your bike a lot and that ball is stuck, the engine oil in the bag will back feed and puke out a number of places.

@@FXDLSBrooklyn finished the top end up changed the whole ignition system and fixed that shitty leak on my primary and got the tranny rebuilt now I’m working on just polishing up the paint and making it look non clapped out 😂
Note the pushbutton on the starter motor, that era handlebar controls were unreliable to say the least! (I drilled a hole in mine and used a #2 pencil, but then my FXRP was a Hurricane Katrina survivor) Love his chopper build, just like I like them, short and fast. Very NYC style. Love the monochromatic paint jobs too! Great interview! (Post edit: watched this video in the parking lot of my daughter's dentist office on a warm November day with the windows down in my Volvo...I guess the music offended some old bearded guy in a jeep parked next to me who kept giving me dirty looks; I thought "maybe he doesn't like John Zorn style saxophone " but then I remember he is old enough to remember early 80's late night cable shows...)

Interesting engine build, not going with a big bore kit because it's unreliable. I was told the exact opposite, to not bother with raising compression in an evo, just get a big bore motor from s&s.
Personally I'd get some new wheels or powder coat those gloss black to complete the look. Has a really nice white and black paint job and then some old grungy looking wheels
BK Low u seen Squid Game ? I ordered a suit on 7 Oct and it finally arrived today 8 Nov,a bit late,came from China I think but I love it,fits me well,can't wait now to wear it next Halloween haha
Fxr are known for destroying lifters mainly because of the dramatic push rod angles. Also you could have a problem with cylinder base studs pulling out.
They are just evos and all evos go through lifters a little soon, also evos did have issues with cylinder studs pulling out in part of 90 and part of 91? Not exactly sure of the year. Was told they had a run of bad cases, talked to a few bike builders and all said the same thing, if they haven’t pulled out now they you are safe,
