  • Join me as I embark on a breathtaking hike through the Cairngorms! This stunning mountain range in Scotland is known for its rugged terrain and breathtaking scenery, and I want to bring you along for the adventure!
Sgor Goaith is 1,118 metres (3,668 ft) high. Sgor Gaoith is situated on the west side of the Cairngorms range, it is separated from the Central Cairngorms by the glaciated valley of Gleann Eanaich. From the north of the Cairngorms, it can be seen as a long, mostly grassy ridge running north to south. The most northerly and most prominent looking top from this position, is the top of Sgoran Dubh Mor. The higher summit of Sgor Gaoith is the second, southerly summit.

Brilliant, the view from the top was wonderful. Feeling the urge to get out exploring some more hills!

It has been pre-covid since I was up in the snow. And that was just up Calton Hill . A good fall, that was, cold but so quiet. A night out to reflect.
    (Merlot and a brew)
Well, there was some snow here, Edinburgh, a few weeks ago, with drifts as high as a centimeter. Doesn't really count.

Hiya Chris! The snow has been pretty good so far this year, and I'll think if we get a few more flurries, then we'll be in for some really good, but challenging, conditions :)
