so happy to know you’re learning Indonesian! (that’s my first language!) what i like about the language is that you don’t really have to say complete sentences in order for it to make sense, us Indonesians aren’t very formal with our language lol. semangat!!
Yay, more language-learning videos! I can’t wait to see your 2025 language goals. I always look forward to your New Year’s goals-they inspire me so much!
One of the reasons why I love this girl she always make me feel that it's OK to learn many things at the same time I am focusing on learning french and spanish Not giving it that much time but learning russian and trying to improve my english too and also added brazilian portugues to my list and this type of vidéos make me feel like am good there is nothing wrong with learning so many languages and I love that ❤ good luck anna💖
I love these language learning videos! It really motivates me to practice the languages I learn. I learn Spanish, Italian, German, Ukrainian, and Norwegian, as well as dabbling in BSL, Dutch, and French. There are also SOOO many other languages I'd like to learn, such as Egyptian Arabic, Catalan, Portuguese, Greek, Hebrew, and Romainian. I agree with other commenters that these videos also help us to not feel bad for trying to learn lots of languages at the same time!
I'm really impressed, you learned 5 languages, you speak in english the whole video and you speak in russian with your mom hahahahah That's really really amazing, on this video you spoke in 7 languages, OMG, in one day you used 7 languges! You are a kinda Genius! Record more video like this for us, please, because it's fantastic!!
I love seeing how other people learn languages! I am also learning 5 languages at the same time, among them also some "maintenance" (Polish, Greek, Norwegian, Italian and German) and I can't really find any proper method so I like to find inspiration in this kind of vlogs, keep going 😄
I feel like this is perfect timing because I am also just going back to my language learning journey and not only the motivation, but also the tools you mentioned, are all very helpful! Thanks, Anya!
Girl, I LOVE your languages videos!! I ADORE learning languages as well, so you can imagine that these kind of videos are my favourites. Your videos on this topic bring me back to your old room in Ireland and then to all the countries you lived in and the languages that you learn. And it brings me so much joy that I've been with you (virtually) on this journey, that I learned many things from you and that we are both growing and discovering our paths! Forever one of my favourite youtubers❤
Hey girl! You film a lot of videos about learning languages but I would love to see more videos of you actually using them irl!! Like maybe just some interactions or something would be cool :)
I have a couple videos where my learning is more focused on speaking! For example in my last language vlog before this one, I had 3 speaking classes in Indonesian, Spanish and Russian where you can hear me speaking ❤️
If you are interested in learning new letters or scripts i recommend languages that are written in Devanagari script like hindi and Sanskrit. It is difficult but i believe that it will be a good challenge for you because it is soo different from all the languages mentioned in this video.
Extensive listening is also really good for learning and maintaining languages... Polyglot Beats here on youtube is great for bilingual stories where they read one sentence in English, then re-read the same in target language (their playlist section has over 20 languages)... I listen while walking and driving - you need to get the language in you!! The more exposure the better😊😊 great channel.
Sawasdee ka! I have been following your channel for a while and excited to know that you are interested in learn Thai. Good luck and look forward to seeing you speaking full thai on your TH-cam channel!
Hi Anna, I wanted to know if you could make a video specifically about how to learn a language you already know from childhood but speak incorrectly. If I remember correctly, this is your case with Russian. I have the same "problem" with Romanian - I can have conversations but my grammar is wonky and I sometimes lack very basic vocabulary or confuse basic words 😅
Hi ❤ anna I following you almost 2 years ago I sew your video ‘how to learn Spanish ‘ that inspired me to learn Spanish and now I’m learning it as a major in college I’m Thai and I’m very surprised to see you learn my language . Love you ❤
love this kind of videos so much! always motivates me to continue with my journey of learning spanish, i find it really difficult to stay motivated though, i think i just need to get invested in a spanish series or find youtubers that i would like, so if you have any recommendations please please share also ps i really like seeing and hearing you speak russian (my first language), for some reason i find it so entertaining and cool, so if you ever want to do more videos in or about russian i'd personally love that haha
I always enjoy your videos, because it helps me to maintain and improve my English, and I hope you add Arabic to your languages collection to let me hear my mother tongue with your own voice ❤
Hello I’m in the process of learning Hebrew. I’m not Jewish but it’s very attractive language. Every language is special and just the process of learning a new one it’s absolutely amazing
Honestly, sometimes I want to add more languages to my schedule, but I have to pace myself 😭 I think right now the new year holds only three languages in my future, possibly four. You're doing great! Best of luck in your language endeavors 😊🙌
OMG, you came to Thailand?! I've been following you for almost two years. When I found out that you're interested in the Thai language, I was so surprised!
I came here because I want to learn Thai as well, but as a Spanish (Latin America) speaker, I find it interesting and even funny that you would never use ojalá. In fact, in this region, it's a very common word. We rarely use espero que sí or similar ones because, for us, those expressions sound formal.
I'm halfway studying Thai, because the script is just so cool looking to me, I only want to know how to read it. But the languages I seriously want to know fluently because I think they're beautiful all around are Swahili, Indonesian, (southern dialect) Vietnamese, (Brazilian) Portuguese, and (Mexican) Spanish. Specified "Mexican" instead of "Latin American" because Argentina is weird. XD
@@celescalice It's actually one of the easiest accents for me to understand. I just don't like the distinct way you guys pronounce "y" and "ll". It's also not very diverse compared to the rest of LA, and finding out that the reason is intentional didn't make my feelings about it any better. So Argentina and Spain just get a "no" from me.
So glad that you're learning Asian languages that you NEVER LEARNED. I have 2 questions for you to answer. 1)Why do you want to learn Asian languages like Indonesian,Thai,Korean etc? 2)Are you interested in travelling to East and Southeast Asia like South Korea,Indonesia and Thailand AGAIN in the near future?

I started learning Russian, what an amazing language!
You are my inspiration to continue learning a few languages, even if I am 67. It's always been my passion.
so cool that you’re learning indonesian! I barely see people learning it. belajar terus :)
I have Indonesian on my list, but first have to get Russian to an upper intermediate level. Meanwhile I just dabble with Italian.
Your russian is so impressive.I did't even notice the accent. Просто вау)

Guys what if we creat a group for each language and just try to help eachother?
I'm in 👍
I'm in, too! It would be great if we had something like a Discord server
I thought it was a good idea, especially for ambitious people like me lol. I'm from Brazil, where are you from?
