I used to play engineer a lot in wvw, mortar striking enemies on top of sm never goes out of fashion, or launching yourself towards them either using the explosive skill on holosmith, or the rifle leap and the engi has a lot of decent movement options! :D
Looks like a fun build. I play something similar, but I decided to swap out Firearms for Alchemy (2,2,1 IIRC) and took a couple utility potions for all the boons and stun breaks. It definitely helps for survivability, but at the cost of dps.
Fully agree, but just want to add, Rifle Scrapper is fun in PvE too, not just WvW - especially loving it in FotM lately. I mean, the Hammer is fun too but I've been leaning toward rifle in a lot of places. CM Strikes as qDPS rifle, esp in OLC or Ankka CMs, is a God-level build. Pairs great with a HAM, which are everywhere, and having ranged CC is a huge benefit the Hammer mostly lacks. But, both are very fun.
The awful thing about scrapper is I get so used of super speed, every other class seems too slow to play with now… I do like to play with riffle in OW, scrapper riffle is a tagging machine in farm train with riffle 😮
Okay first video i'm tuning in to....PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD RENDER THE VIDEO TO FIT ANYONES SCREEN or however that works because the 2 thick black lines at top and bottom are annoying as hell it zooms the video out and I can't see anything. But other than that I like the editing. Good video!

Honestly, I've been needing inspiration for my scrapper... I miss enjoying it.
Once you go for fun over min/maxing, the game is so much more enjoyable!

I currently run wvw support scrapper where the heals are strong and the damage is that of a wet noodle.
Ran a mech for a little while. Didn't really like it much... and the mech itself is annoying; so reverted back to scrapper. Haven't used mech since.

Yup. If I remember correctly both the best quick scrapper and dps scrapper builds on snowcrows both have the grenade kit as part of their rotation.
