@@JackWhitez I can answer for that question. For me, one of the class that satisfies all fo that you mentioned is mesmer. For story and solo contents, Mirage is the best (check double staff mirage build) while Viper Virtuoso is always being welcomed for raid groups if dps needed.

I don't believe it. I tried making a Vindi build as inspiration from your past videos. I was so close to what you made in the condi build! I just did not think about Salvation trait line! Thank you very much, for being an inspiration and one fantastic player!
I had a lot of fun theorycrafting a power vindicator build while you were working on this. I ended up with the same traits you have in vindi and invoke, but I was running ret instead of salv. Ret has those nice modifiers and some Dr for having perma resolution, but it looks like you aren’t missing the damage from that too much running salv and the sustain is obviously incredible.
I think I ended up running a mix of mostly berserker gear with a few diviner pieces and a few cavalier pieces as well with pack runes and celestial food.
Thank you for making these builds. It’s awesome for players of all skill levels to know that there are builds out there they can use to crush content.

thanks so much for this build, I do like a lot of your builds, since this is most of the content i play is open world/metas/solo stuff and especially this build rocks, i thought rev just felt squishy but with build I've been able to solo difficult content now easily. I also do like a power take on a build too, the condi is god tier against difficult bosses, but sometimes to get to the difficult stuff you have to wipe out a lot of trash mobs and the power version can do that so much faster than the condi can.
I just started playing this build, and it's a lot of fun. It actually reminds me of old core d/d cele ele with the might/buff stacking. Which is why I swap over to ele from time to time just to feel tougher. It's no exaggeration when I say, day 1 with little familiarity with the build/rotation, I went on to solo champions and fight intense scenarios with 10+ mobs. It wasn't perfect and I did die to a few champions - but not before taking their health pool down to half. I attribute those losses to not really knowing their mechanics as well as not being completely familiar with build.
10/10 build.
This build is pretty crazy, and reasonably easy to play too! Epic intro, had me laughing hard :D
I've been doing something similar to your Power build but using Pack runes and a Diviner Ring and Amulet to reach ~30% boon duration for those that are newer to the game and don't have access to Leadership Runes. You can even drop the Diviner ring entirely if you eat Soul Pastries at 6 copper a pop or drop all the Diviner pieces entirely if you eat Fried Golden Dumplings at 60 copper each. It's also worth noting that you overcap Crit% a LOT with this setup so feel free to use Dragon's stat weapons (such as the Vindicator Greatsword) - so long as you reach 50% crit chance *before* Fury is added.

Amazing builds! Almost pre-nerf condi renegade. I modified power version a bit and managed to get to 15-16k DPS. Full zerk + diviners weapons/food (gives around 25% boon duration) + scholar runes. Ultimate solo power build! Amazing job, Lord! keep it up

do you think this is viable for wvw? i hate wvw so much because i cant figure out how to roam properly.. i'm not nearly as bad at pvp as i am wvw but i think i'll try this over renegade since i love spamming banish enchantment so much
Vindicator is like playing Dragoon and Dark Knight (greatsword) all in one spec. I love it. I was looking for a ow build that was very tanky for vindi and this is perfect. Thanks for this build.

Been running the condi build for a few days now getting used to it and man HOLY COW ! I just soled the High Sage event in Lake Doric , well one guy tried to help but he folded like a cheap suit LOL. He came back after it was over and he was like damn you just do this solo? Im like yeah ...no sweat and jumped on my Skyscale and flew off. LOL
I did switch out the food for Holographic Super Cake ( Nourishment (30 m): Gain Health Every Second+30% to Endurance Regeneration+20% Magic Find) for more dodges and the heath tick keeps the damage reduction buff ( Unyielding Spirit) up all the time.

Ty for the amazing build ! Against bosses I keep staff for strong CC, but in open world or story I go double swords cause it has good burst against trash mobs

This humble one has a question, how would you think rune of nightmare + sigil of malice or demon will effect the condi build ? Will it be on par with your build ?

What would you say is the best means of getting Swiftness or any kind of move speed buff into this build? That is my only issue with it so far, it feels slow in the open world between fights when farming (when constant mounting is not that feasible). Maybe dropping the Bursting sigil for Speed sigil, and just stacking some Swiftness to use between fights?
I love this build, I'm not very good so it's awesome to have a fun build that keeps me alive through almost anything. Is it necessary to have all ascended gear in order to do some of the challenge bosses you did solo? Or are exotics enough? Thanks!
O bit too late to say but the difference in amounts of stats from full exotic to full ascended is close to 15%. You can notice the change but barely, I'd say. Anyway, by the endgame it's really easier and faster than it used to be to get full ascended, so you can chill in exotics and slowly upgrade your set. If you don't stop playing the game (even casually) very soon, you'll probably hit full legendary anyway, so you can just chill and enjoy the run

I didn’t put sigils on staff for condition version since it’s only purpose to CC then swap back to mace/axe

@@LeMondeDeJudge it’s open options for staff you already can remove conditions by dodge or staff 4 energy is good option but most likely you won’t need to swap to staff

didnt try to use them in wvw, it meant to finish OW events, achievements, story contents or solo stuff if you are into that kind of stuff so i dont think you can expect good results by using it against players

Condi build is more durable and it's quite perceptible, though the power one is very easy to manage as well (maybe not THAT easy, but certainly way easier than meta stuff). With enough experience, I'd say you'd be able to solo the same content with both builds, but the condi build would even allow you to face tank a bunch of stuff that usually would get you killed in 2 seconds. Just remember to jump everytime you can (and try to land over your targets lol)
Oh, just remembered. For condi build you have our HoT beta weapons to combine perfectly with the mistwarden armor set (rev's signature armor set). The drip is real and the recipes give you ascended weapons
Hello Hizen, so for both of these builds, we don't usually swap weapons at all (from the Mace/Axe to Staff), or is there situations where swapping would be beneficial?
most likely u wont swap to staff unless if there is CC mechanics that you need heavy CC, thats why i picked staff as a 2nd weapon for this case

Took the power version for a spin against 3-4 of the Jinn at the top of the chest parking spot in Crystal Desert (she was parked there) as a quick test and while they're not Legendary Bounty material having so many attacking in a confined space was fun.
Primary issue I had was the need for stability/stunbreaks due to the amount of CC coming at me. Short of switching out Shiro for Jalis how do I go about accessing frequent stab? Probably a learn to play issue since I have vary little familiarity with the new legends but I used this as a soft proof for the amount of CC you usually face in WvW.
I forgot the name of the skills but each vindi legends have stun breaks, which also gives stability. The red ones does cc damage too.
Amazing build... just soloed Cairn with it by just mashing buttons. Havent played anything with this insane sustain since tormenting rune nerf

small question, how viable is sw/sw instead of GS?, just wondering if its viable or its too much of a dps loss?. I was considering the posibility of getting even more dodges by doing the old trick of MH sword, free off hand on set 1. Sword Offhand, free MH on set 2 in order to weapon swap and trigget the sigil of energy more often since you don't swap too much from GS anyway.

Oh man.. Whenever vindi was introduced.. Muk expected this to be a condi GS kinda build... I was disappointed when it was power focused... And now with this build I threw a GS with the M/A... And using sigils of tormenting and stamina on the GS... It's so fun... It's not fully efficient.. But I enjoy how fun a condi GS is..
Man, the more I play this build the more it pulls me to the game and feels like you just want more challenging content.. Like where is the limit for this build.. Is there a content you can't do with this!

Hi I am new to the game and i picked revenant as my first class cause it is heck a awesome. I was wonder if the Condi vindicator is good for instanced content (fractals, raids and whatnot) and maybe even in WvW. I sorta want an all around build so i dont have to think about it too much since im still starting out but want to get into as much content as i can and spend my small amount of gold wisely. If ppl would recommend power more for everything even pvp than i go power.
On the Vindicator condition build was that all celestial gear as well as weapons or just the armor and what armor ruins as well as weapons

Condi build is awesome, tier level similar to pre-tormenting runes nerf which made Herald unstoppable. The power version is good but nowhere near to the condi one. Is a bit sad since there's not much reasons to play Vindi in PvE if our main weapon set will be the core mace + axe and greatsword falls to side weapon at best. Great video, as walways.
I'm maining GS on the condi build.. Using stamina and tormenting sigils... It's not efficient Ofc.. But in terms of fun... It's plenty and I haven't face anything that I cannot

There is nothing wrong with the mace or axe... Not sure what your emplying outside of not using Greatsword like I dont know EVERY other melee build which gets boring.. AND STILL the Greatsword does more then enough even with this build as a backup...
Get the beta revenant skins. Believe me, it's an amazing placebo. You'll feel really fresh
Can you not use a mix of dragon and marauder and still have 100% crit chance with abit less power and way more HP? Full dragon armor + 1 dragon ring, rest marauder
How does the playstyle of power vs condi compare? Thinking of making this build but have never gotten celestial gear before and am mildly intimidated by it. Any tips for getting celestial gear? Or maybe I should just go with power since it seems like it also does fine?
I remember crafting every single component of my cele d/d ele gear. It sucks to craft it but thankfully you have a lot of alternatives with latest LW vendors, just research a bit to find the right ones. Otherwise, you might buy all components and craft everything as soon as you lvl your craft of choice (nowadays it's more than ten times cheaper than it used to be when I did, so enjoy it. You'd barely need some 50g to lvl the craft of choice to max lvl, chef being way cheaper), but it's gonna be way cheeper if you decide to collect everything, though the process will be way longer as well, specially due to timegating
Great build, tried it (condition one) in open world pve and fractals and I can face tank everything. I wanted to ask if this also works for WvW roaming, and pvp as well?
The biggest problem is actually hitting your target when you face very mobile oponents. Eventually it gets quite hard to heal yourself and put pressure on classes like thieves and other that move much faster than you, as you just have 2 gap closers and barely can hit them with everything you have stored. Against slow builds though, you'll feel like they're mobs, as you'll easily be able to stack torment on them. Also worth mentioning that the constant lack of energy to deal with different situations hurts quite a lot in pvp/wvw, while you can manage it very easily in pve

What's the alternative to Leadership rune? It's a pain in the butt to get it since I need to invest a lot of time in WvW for it...

I come back to this game more for playing your builds in the game and destroying bosses/mobs, it's super fun, they should pay you honestly. Also the meme videos and everything adds hype and makes me excited to play the game trying these builds. YOU should get paid by arenanet if they're intelligent at all.
Only if they get him for balance team lol. We're better off with arenanet not knowing hizen is bulldozing their hardest content solo so no professions get nerfed to the ground
What is the survivability like on the power build in comparison to the condition? Like can it also solo all the same bosses or would it struggle a lot more?
it can solo but it will struggle since it doesnt have the healing power and toughness like celestial and dont use the corruption trait that heals you 515 HP per second
Someone may have mentioned this, but you can place your axe in your secondary off hand slot and "swap" for extra energy.

How’s condi vindicator compare to condi herald and condi renegade? I think herald is more tanky and ren does more damage or maybe those two builds are outdated?

Can't you take Jalis over Alliance in the power build for the hammers that give you a LOT of durability as well, while only losing a little damage?

What would you think of runes of the Mirage for the condi version instead of tormenting?
not good without the torment duration from tormenting rune you will lose lot of damage and the rune also provide regeneration that we can extend it by spamming dodges

it will work but keep in mind exotic have less stats compare to ascended or legendary so you wont reach the same stats like 100% crit chance without modifying

Slow clap, I didnt know vindicator can do condition damage. :D Though I already enjoy power vindi, I will give the celestial condi try. I also love the leap+pull i demon stance so all the more reason to play it.
vindicator has 3 condi orientated abilities in archemorus stance
@@drios8809 ...And can trait Corruption to add torment on chill procs (greatsword has some chills), but those condityion procs from Vindi are overall fairly weak: the stunning thing is that the condi build works pretty much as a core/Herald classic build, relying mostly in mace + axe with Mallyx to deal the damage.
@@Buran01 uhm no. vindicator has most condis apply because mace 2 + archemorus leap gives higher uptime on fire aura + an aoe burn that also applies good quicknes for faster condi apply + archmorus spear and dodge applies condi too. Herald has 1 attack which applies on longer cd. Also you run on condi vindicator mace/axe + staff and not greatsword, greatsword aint worth it
@@drios8809 That's what I said: Vindicator itself has little condition damage to apply (most of the damage comes from mace and Mallyx elite, not from neither the Alliance skills, the greatsword skills nor the Vindicator traitline. In fact both Herald (which has better acces to quickness) and Renegade (with a pure hybrid weapon as the short bow and the Renegade traits) have better condition damage than Vindicator. Both provide higher condi damage than Vindicator but Vindicator excess in sustain.
By the way I would't run a staff as side weapon in a condition Vindicator build: with axe #5 + Call to Anguish you have the cc needs entirely covered; staff sinks the power damage and does 0 condi damage. Gretsword at least benefots from Abyssal Chill, albeit the best set is probably mace + axe and just sword in the swap (so you retain a chill + torment and i-frames for evassion while keeping the axe. That or just mace + axe x2.

Rune of the pack, with diviner weapon instead of berserker. Or diviner amulet+accessory and berserker weapon
Fireworks provide 15% boon duration with more boon procs and a permanent 25% increase of movement speed. You can fill the other 12,5% boon duration with a diviner ring + earing to reach the same ~28%..
