Hello, how is everything? I'm from Brazil, I have one of that same machine with an air outlet problem. Because when I turn on the display already lit, it just heats up, it doesn't blow the air, I think it's a problem with the pump. What suggestion? You can give me

+Radu M Hi! Maybe the screws were have loose, and it is the reason why the pump didn't die. Don't lose them! You could need them in the future.

s3f9454bzz-dk94 ... took me forever to uncover the numbers cause they tried to grind the numbers out but it failed. also its not just for the display both 20 pin ICs are the same number. One seems to drive the hot air and its display. The other seems to control the soldering handle and its display

What is the cause of 5-E error. Do you have an idea?
Hi! 5-R = Sensor Error. Thermocouple is open or wrong connection. It happened to me too. I had to change the small switch on the panel once. (I don't know if I made a damage when I made the conversion by soldering a wire or the switch was faulty. I replaced it one year later). Also when the soldering iron is damaged you can get the error. Touch a little the switch and the connector to test it. If there is not any changing, try other soldering iron.

Hi! I have two. And I got my 2nd one two years later. Yes, it is good for my needs. I got some extra soldering irons and tips too, some Gordak and others without brand. Then I could compare the quality, and I found out Gordak has better visual finish, better heating and lasts longer than the generic ones. I had to repair a switch in the first one, and front it to the pictures shown in the video, we can see, it is easy to repair and to find parts for the future, when it grow old and fails. I do not work full time with it, just eventually. (Probably next year my two Gordaks will work full time, because I closed the repair workshop and I will open a micro-industry. Until then I will able to find out how good they are for massive job).

Hi! I don{t know it. Mine doesn't have visible number. You will have to make reverse engineering to identify the chip by pinout of VCC, GND, Oscillator, and signal input. (In the worse case, you can do something alike with one PIC or Arduino chip. What I do remember is the thermocouple is different than the K type, and there are some degrees difference between one and the other for you to scale the programe).

@@bob.kalpon1398 this is old but for future reference they did a bad job grinding mine away and with some tricks I was able to read the numbers on both ICs. same number on both btw the 20 pins are the Samsung s3f9454bzz-dk94. hopefully people can fix them better in the future, although there would need to be a dump of the program on the ICs, or to build one from scratch. I needed to figure this out and this was the place people seem to be asking about it.
