Started the 80's age 7 (Empire Strikes Back every week for weeks on end baby!). Ended age 17 (Total Recall with the boys when I turned 18 in 1990). Yeah, it was freaking amazing.

You don't need RTX for GPU accelerated rendering, like toni said, it's done in Octane, so it's GPU accelerated. I'd bet it took about a week. If you want real-time rendering in an animation software, wait for Blender 2.8, or get UE4 or Marmoset's Toolbag.

This song perfectly encapsulates everything New Retro Wave / Synthwave is about. Like, every synth sound, riff, Arcade FX and melody line covers the whole spectrum of why I love this stuff. It's all here.
Donald Edwards gotta agree, even though tron legacy is playing with that style it lacks massivly of the destinct 80 style and cheesyness ... try bubblegum crysis, i'm pretty sure the sequence where we had the digital speedometer closeup was a reference to that episode where that one dude basicly became his car ldue to cybernetics and stuff 😄

I like how this 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo Bertone is retro-ized slightly to look more 80's like the rear skirt hubs on the rear tire that do not move with the tire, and the metallic DeLorean silver with black goes well with this car.
