You explained it with so much clarity. Thank you very much for that. I was reading Ramesh Gaonkar microprocessor and in that 74LS148 IC's Truth table was given but there i was unable to understand function of goup select and output enable lines. Then i found your video explaining it and to my surprise i find it very useful. Other youtube videos only explain active high priority encoders and that too without enable input and group select and output enable lines. Only your video does that.
