Thankfully the writer of this was one for Bioshock Infinite, granted some may not like that but even with it's minor flaws I thought that was a great ride through and through and you can really feel that vibe here.
Interesting point: the sheriff (with a long hair) said to Dispatch "If you don't hear from us in 15 minutes, call everyone". If you don't choose the instant ending and actually play the game, Dispatch doesn't hear from you for DAYS! So why didn't anyone come to check the situation??

If you remember the introductory cutscenes of Far Cry 4 where you're on the bus and it gets raided by the soldiers, this game is no where near a huge improvement. That looked just as beautiful, the graphics were insanely sharp and smooth and looked just like this.

Games dont have individualistic "aesthetic" that one can use in films. Video games are written and made with multiple people involved where as a film can come from the sole perspective of its writer/director..

The only thing I don’t like about this is the silent protagonist treatment the player character is getting. Some of my favorite things from the far cry series are the protagonists. Jason made far cry 3 for me, and while a little bland at times, Ajay’s occasional dialogue was better than awkward silence. But hey, we’ll just have to wait for the game to come out to see how it turns out.

FBI invaded, massacre ensued... but the cultists were ultimately removed... what is this game's excuse for the fact that the FBI wouldn't or couldn't intervene in this situation? It doesn't make sense in a game that is supposed to be emulating the "real world".

It's not a emulating reality, so any excuses, even such as Montana being it's own separate nation, can be excused. If you really looking for realism in gaming, Far Cry is a "far-cry" from being that.
Forget Waco if you want to look at cultists taking over an area in the United States and instead check out a little known group in Oregon called Rajneeshpuram.

Ok given what the video depicts and what the sheriff states about the run in with this group I REALLY doubt they would have sent just 4 people. This would have way more larger scale involvement with federal law enforcement and possibly involvement with national guard.
No police officer serves a warrant at night and with so little backup when every person in the building may have a gun. Nor would he allow armed crazy dudes get behind him; especially in a dark building.
11 minutes capture on 4k, but they don't tell what platform is running on, in addition its most likely on PC , then they will say its on the X, therefore by showing an X button for the xbox controller, also I surprise some people don't realize that having a controller connected onto a PC changes the button input on screen and the menu. This would be considered as a Misleading promotion, especially 4k gaming if it's not detailing the system of use.

So I'm assuming if you don't hit X to cuff him you can get a short alternate ending akin to that of far cry 4's wating on Pagen to come back
