    2. What makes AMSOIL different than other oils? -
    AMSOIL is 100% Synthetic & has higher film strength & holds up 4× better in turbocharger deposit testing than Mobil 1 EP which protects and separates metal parts, keeping them from wearing and Lasting Exponentially longer: th-cam.com/video/f4eNPgTi_qo/w-d-xo.html
    3. Why should I use AMSOIL?: It protects the engine so it will last longer. Less oil changes less often (once per year/15,000 miles) or longer... Save money in Gas & Time making it less expensive than a free oil change over the year - th-cam.com/video/H7K6FdZlqmg/w-d-xo.html

    For those doing this in a garage at home, take the time to take off the wheels as you work on the car. Saves you headache getting to the bleed valve and saves you from having to wash your wheels from brake fluid.

  • @kenne340

    You have the sequence wrong. According to the 2016-2021 Honda Civic Service Manual, the sequence is Front Driver Side, Front Passenger Side, Rear Passenger Side, and Rear Driver Side.

      I came here to say this same thing. Also, after bleeding the rears, you are supposed to activate the electronic brake five times and bleed the rears again.

  • @PauloHeaven
    @PauloHeaven 4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

    Be careful, brake fluid is ultra corrosive. It will hurt the rims and the tires, I would have hooked a rubber pipe to the bleeder screw to make the old fluid go to a jerrycan or something like that. I strongly recommend Vlad to wash his rims as soon as possible

    On this car honda says to start on front driver side and work clockwise. Also when done activate emergency brake 5 times and re bleed rear brakes one more time to clear any air from e brake

    I just flushed my focus a few days ago. The conventional was black and burnt. Looked like the amsoil is cleaning the inside of the brakes and clutch. I want to do it again. Maybe not a full flush, but I definitely want to see if the amsoil has cleaned the clutch and brake lines even more. And thanks for the video it made it so easy.

    I use the 1 man brake bleeding procedure.
    Bottle with a hose at the bottom of the bottle with a little brake fluid submerging the hose.
    I crack open the bleeder valve and then go in the car and slowly depress the pedal 5-10 times and check reservoir until fluid is clean. Then do the same for other 3 wheels.

    Hello! I have a 2017 Civic Hatch. Why does the owners manual recommend Honda genuine brake fluid? Is this just to prop up the dealers. There’s no disadvantage to using an aftermarket oil like the one you used, correct? Thank you.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Correct Matt as long as you use the proper specification you're fine you'll see like brake fluid they call it. 3 or. 4 and the difference are the boiling points.
      The Amsoil makes a. Three. Four brake fluid all in one and that one meets and exceeds the OEM requirement of your car.
      Also it also meets and exceeds the dot for requirement which is a higher boiling point so you'll definitely have a lot better breaking feel also it'll take less effort to push the brake pedal down.
      Your calipers will last longer and everything will just operate a lot smoother.
      This is my personal link so if you're interested in trying the products this would save you about $33 off and $100 order as a PC member and when you use my link I would also get the credit for your orders and I would be your AMS oil dealer so I could always answer your questions in the future.
      Thanks again Matt for for being a part of my TH-cam community always happy to talk with you.

      From my experience, follow the Owners Manual recommended specs religiously, especially for Hondas. My father in law changed the steering fluid on my Honda Pilot with an offbrand and the power steering started to squeal/fail 3 months later. Turns out the owners manual specifically stated to use Honda OEM power steering fluid. The price difference is minimal, save yourself the headache and use Honda OEM.

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @sandwich_in_wonderland yes that is correct on the power steering this is different it's brake fluid and it depends on the component and vehicle year make model and the specifications this is a highly upgraded fluid for the brake system has less compression with heat as it doesn't boil as easy and has a smoother brakefield with less friction when you push the brake pedal you don't need as much effort and you also have faster ABS response. Definitely a big upgrade if you're looking for the next level up.
      Amsoil makes all the fluids for this vehicle and you can order them on my website you'll see the full playlist as well on everything we did to his car to get it to run better than brand new☕️

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That one I think we got at harbor freight and I recommend getting two of them because the seal breaks inside all the time once the seal breaks it won't pump anymore and then you're going to have to use another pump sometimes you can lose some fluid because when the seal breaks you can't get it out.
      I would definitely buy two of them because they don't last very long lol

      Some rims are easy to get to some rims you can't get to it just depends on the car and the way the calipers are and where the bleeder screw is located

    What was the hose you used to do this?

      Clear vinyl hose works nicely on the bleeder valves. 5 mm inside diameter, or maybe 4 mm.

    Check out the Motive power bleeder. Turns brake bleeding into a one-man job and you don't have to repeatedly jam the brake pedal to the floor which can potentially damage the master cylinder. May not be worth it for one car every few years, but perfect for heavy users like yourself. And now I know Amsoil sells brake fluid!

    Hi Eban! Really cool videos! 2 things:
    -I want to make the flush to my civic 2018 lx but when I go to Amsoil it give me 4 engine options: l15b7, l15bA, k20C1 and k20C2. I have the simplest model and I don't know where to find the info or what would be the difference.
    -I am planning on buying Amsoil for a transmission flush, brake fluid , coolant and fuel additive ( all from your videos!! thanks about that) Do you have a code or link so they can see that I am buying because of your videos?
    Thanks man!!

      As for the different engine specifications what I usually do is check the VIN number and the dealership can actually give you your exact engine code or you can also take a look and see at the different motors on the lookup guide If they all take the same oil filter in the same oil then you're fine You just want to double-check and see if there's any differences from the oil filters or the motor oil

    What size wrench did you use?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it's an 8 or 10 mm

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you can get the closed box wrenches for doing brake bleeding is always best

    • @Syntheticoilprotection

      A closed wrench has four contact points instead of to contact points with the bolt
