I always had the idea if sonic 2 ever had a supersonic final boss like it would be in the the death egg falling down and trying to crash in the West Island but now I'm typing it out like it might be a little dark if he doesn't collect the emeralds so in the other ending it'll be that eggman collect the emeralds and forces the island of crash on to Angel Island
Exactly, if the doomsday boss from Sonic 3 got recycled from Sonic 2's "The Last Battle in Space" and its like Sonic 3's Doomsday Zone then thats right
EPIC FINAL SHOWDOWN IN SPACE AGAINST NEO MECHA SONIC MKII! (Also, can I use this track as base for a track called Chaos Catastrophe Zone in my fangame? I will give due credit)
In many ways, this track does not feel as if it belongs in MD '92, due to the way its instrumentation is handled compared to Masato Nakamura's setlist; this being said though, there is one ROM hack where it definitely fits the mood perfectly, that being Sonic Boom (2009), especially when you drop both the Pitch and Tempo by 036.80% in VirtualDJ Pro 07 (this should be about Eight Keys down from base and about 060% of the original speed presented here), what you end up getting with this tuning sounds to me as if it is an alternate take on the Theme of Gorbichev/King Orbi: Mark II (based on "Our Blood Boils ~ Sigma: Phase 0I" in Rockman X 07) with some nods to MD '9I's Title Screen track and under that handling it is an effective callback to what we got in the community north of Fifteen Years ago, it takes a very delicate ear to point out those similarities and even if it was inadvertent on your part to reference Sonic Boom (2009) it will be kept in memory for all the correct reasons because of how well it translates to this when heard this way. (:
i’m imagining super sonic having to fight the death egg itself
Nah that would be easy af

isnt that like the climax to sa2 but instead of the death egg its the arc
This must be from the alternate timeline where SEGA greenlit all the changes Christian Whitehead was going to make to Sonic CD.
As a beepbox composer myself this is mind blowing.
thanks but i made this with furnace
not beepbox
@vesperiumYT ik that
ok but imo you worded that as if i made this with beepbox
feels as if Run 3 was ported to the Sega Genesis
Too epic for Sonic 2... i take it
Sonic 2 if they released it later

cool, bro
I’m glad that this isn’t actually real, cause the special stages in this game are a total bitch to complete
Doomsday Zone Objection: Stop Death egg from Crashing!!!
suits the doomsday dragon boss that was supposed to be in 3&k
May I use this as the true final ending of my fan-made sonic game?
I think I might need the midi to make a few modifications
Game name pls
@ Sonic Redemption, it is a 2d platform like the classic ages featuring a lost island Sonic accidentally stumbles upon to.
