For the past few years now I've had this mindset that real life is basically an MMORPG, everyone has their own stats, skills that can be developed and attributes that determine their level, In this series you'll follow my progress of leveling up, gaining new achievements and experience as well as working to obtain permanent unlocks in this extremely difficult game we call life.
What other comparisons would you draw between life and MMORPGs? do you think my mindset is healthy? do you also try to gamify life to some extent? if no then why not? let me known in the comments below!

--Real Life Description--
ABOUT
Real Life is a pay to win MMORPG with an unknown publisher and developer, this is a full loot hardcore handbox survival game that's all about increasing your stats over the course of many years to build weath, become stronger, make a family and explore a vast open world with many different biomes, climates, attractions and dangers.
FEATURES - Energy System
Similar to Korean MMORPGs real life uses a sort of energy system, you can't play all day however by increasing your fitness and using the gym you may find that your energy resource goes further and depletes less quickly than the default.
FEATURES - Professions
As with any good MMORPG real life has a massive number of professions to choose from, some are boring but allow you to make money quickly to transition into other skills whilst others are exciting but less lucrative, players in real life must think carefully about professions as this how they will earn gold and increase their item level, some professions force players to live in a set location whilst other professions allow players to move around the world freely! so choose carefully...
FEATURES - Player Driven Economy
The economy in real life is complex and ran by GMs who nobody really knows their real intentions, different areas of the map require players to pay different tax rates to the government from their professions profits so be smart and pick a country with a government that either doesn't spend taxes on useless stuff or one with low taxes.
FEATURES - Perma Death
As with any serious hardcore survival sandbox if you die you don't respawn, but perhaps you get teleported to a different realm? nobody really knows...
FEATURES - Amazing Graphics & Wonders
The world of Real Life is rendered in stunning 8k visuals and players can venture to many beautiful wonders around the world, The great pyramids, Machu Picchu, the Taj Mahal and many more!
FEATURES - Complex Emotions
Your character in Real Life will be in a constant inner battle with himself as his emotions vary at different stages of his life, you must keep your character healthy by eating certain foods, exercising regularly, avoiding substances that cause debuffs and stat loss as well as forming a strong friends group or guild to raise the mental health stat, a good routine or plan for your play sessions may also make this easier.
FEATURES - Family
Characters in Real Life are brought into the world by something called a "Family" this family is completely RNG and they may help get you off to a good start in life or completely grief you from day 1, the goal for many is to make their own family once they reach end game and stop working to make up for the lack of late game progression, It's not mandatory though and you can choose to conquer real life as a solo player should you wish.
AND MUCH MORE
Real Life is the largest first person MMORPG there is and there's really too many features to list, some features are also undiscovered so explore the game, enjoy it for what it is and try to get the most out of it before your subscription ends and your account gets deleted.
If you read this far I wish you the best of luck and positive vibes in the MMORPG that is real life.

With these videos you will probably inspire a lot of people who normally play games all day long. Keep this series up, its great!
Yeah! Well, except the crippled ones.
@@aeeevTHEBESTTH-camRXDDD Disabled people often are better at living and appreciating life in general than healthy ones
Facts, moved across the earth because of this guy. Craig the goat
This ^^^ keep us updated monthly
Inspire them to get paid to play games all day long?
TheNotSoLazyPeon, dont worry about not hitting that six pack goal, self improvement is more about enjoying the journey to get the result, less about the result itself, through consistency we can better ourselves and become the men and women we knew could become.
Much love from the middle east ❤️
Well said.
“I made new friends”
“First meet-up; I nearly died”
Certainly a good starting memory
Like most memories from my early 20's haha...
I can’t believe I’ve been watching this channel since the mists of pandaria machining days (2013 or 2014 I can’t remember). I was in middle school and now I’m almost done with college. It’s been cool seeing your channel evolve over time and now seeing your progress with self improvement, also crazy how time flies.
This series is SO POWERFUL it is something NEEDED in gaming. So many of us are you from 3 years ago and need to not only hear but see that change is possible. You are doing amazing work and I wish you an awesome and successful 2022!
6 pack is a rough one man, you did incredibly though - you're looking great physically and you seem to be in a good mental place too
Six pack is just poisioning ones own mind.
You need a bodyfat ratio of about 9% or less for it to show and then you also need the genetic making to have one.
Some people will and can't have one, ever!
@@Morte_n I have one because Im underweight. So yeah, it shouldnt be a standard for fit men to have.
6 pack wouldn't look great with his image. Better to keep some padding IMO :P
It’s all planning and mind set. IMO everyone needs to get a sixpack once in their lives. It’s not that hard if you are willing to put the work in!
@@MrBnaan I have abs in good down-lighting with a pump, but even when I got really lean they were incredibly fucking stubborn to get to show. I stopped when my upper 2 abs were showing all the time, I just couldn't keep going. I store ALL of my fat in my midsection, despite my HUGE back I don't have a super tiny waist, midsection is just short and blocky. I'll never be able to get the kind of body David Laid or any of those guys have, but on the brightside due to my thick joints and stocky build I excel when it comes to being strong.
Genetics do matter a lot. Everyone can squat and everyone can get a 6 pack, but everyone's abs/squat technique will vary quite a bit. Some just naturally store less fat in that area.
I would say not getting a 6 pack is minor compared to the progress you have made. Not many people can do that. I feel you on the language, my goal is extra ambitious this year to learn Japanese and Chinese. Since my wife is Taiwanese, it would be best. Here is to the next year and great success.
はじめまして。私の名前はタマゴです。 I have been learning Japanese as well. Decided to take it seriously this year.
6 packs are for those who starve not strive. The body fat required for a proper six pack is insane.
I agree as a very high level athlete even I don't have a 6 pack and probably never will don't be too worried about it Peon you did great!!
@@soulplay4755 misconception. Losing weight really fast is actually what causes loose skin. If you started off being fat overweight then u might want to lose slowly while recompositing your body through weight training and cardio but not huge caloric deficit like peon did. Your body needs time to adapt.
I HATE this whole six pack discussion!
Some people can't get one geneticly.
And most fitness influencers and the likes don't mentain one the whole year.
It's hard! You need single digit body fat percentage which can be harsh on your health.
Feeling healthy and happy in your body is worth more than some unhealthy body standards.
I'm Thai. I'm so glad when you say "หวัดดีครับ"
I have tried to branch away from my introverted gamer life but it takes a lot of effort.. but it is totally worth it.
For you to turn it around so much in just an year .. all i can say is
RESPECT
you can be introverted and still get out and do things
@@Troupe_Master yeah im like that aslong as im with people i really care about
@@Troupe_Master True... But i once i got the taste of the other side.. i knew that the lifestyle i thought was perfect for me.. wasn't actually.
It's about finding what you prefer.. and i wouldn't have unless I tried
@@ForestBeingHelena Introversion doesn't mean having social anxiety though, I'm 100% introverted and don't care that I am that way, I can be happy and live a fulfilling life without anyone but my girlfriend and I'm fine with that, I can also go outside on walks and exercise at home with no problems, you may be creating another problem if you think you need others when you might not and thinking you need to be extroverted to be "happy".
Dude your Muay Thai teacher deserves a medal. You looked so bad in the beginning, but now you are looking like a killer dude. Well done to you both!
Hell yeah man. I loved this doc. Well put together and awesome to see your progress over the years.
Bro you watch Abroad In Japan as well I swear-
WHAT UP CHEF!
Not going to lie I fucking needed this kind of video. I've fallen out of love with self improvement lately and just seeing you holding yourself accountable is making me do the same.
As someone who has been kickboxing for over 10 years since I was a kid, I must say your technique increased a lot since I saw your starting video about training. Good job!
Moving really seemed to be the best thing for you. Great job man
It forced him to get out as he was complacent in his home area. You don’t need to move to get out. You just need to be able to analyze your life and what you should change. However it does look like he’s having a lot of fun and that’s what matters.
Yeah we're not unsubscribing, you won in so many ways it's nutty. As someone who's been here for the long haul, it's incredible to see your progress, and definitely given me a bit of perspective on what I need to do for myself. Keep on grinding 💪
You gotta go within bro.
104kg to 73kg, damn son! Mad props I'm happy for you man
living in a developing country as with a 1st world salary must be like in heaven. everything is affordable. pay to win mmo
Lol, underated comment
might be. i can imagine it can become lonely at times, if you have to move far away from home to achieve that. On the other hand, there are nice people everywhere :) (and i am actually not sure how are the prices in thailand)
And don't forget he is white as well, Thailand treats them like gods and all the females hook em like fish
You'll be extremely disappointed to know how much a western lifestyle costs in Thailand. Arguably it could be more than back home. Live like a Thai, yeah cheap. But live like back home. ooh boy.
@@Godhorus you’re completely wrong. If you never lived abroad in a country like thailand please dont comment pretending like you know about it
No words can describe how inspirational this is and in addition, how proud someone could feel for someone else they do not know past watching their videos. I remember watching videos of you explaining your depression, life and just watching you improving all together is absolutely mind-blowingly powerful. You're living the life man!
I'm half Thai and do have family there so I know the food is quite good haha 😂 I'm jealous!
Keep going Peon! Your message is something not to take with a grain of salt, it's wise words of wisdom! All the best to you 😊 we are lucky to be able to have the ability to see into your life, thank you for sharing such valuable and personal things.
Being in the best shape of your life is never a failure. Make sure you don't stop exercising, its so hard to start again if you stop! Wonderful video!!
As a long time subscriber, and lifetime gamer; thank you for sharing this part of yourself with us and I think it will be very inspiring for many of us who want to get out of our chairs and make personal improvements!
Hi Peon, been watching you for some time now. You are a huge inspiration to not only me, but so many others in the world. Thank you for normalizing the fact that gamers do and can have a "normal" life!
Pretty sure his life isn't "normal" but above average.
lol normal life of a millionaire. So normal
... He sits in front of the PC for a few hours a week and probably makes at least a hundred times more than most of us do in our normal 50+ hour work weeks.
I'm not saying he hasn't achieved something great here. I do admire him for his perseverance. I honestly didn't think he'd last the year.
I'm just saying that his life is anything but normal. Most of us don't have this amount of free time for self improvement. Gamers with full time jobs and a family can't be expected to compete with this. These are not just excuses. I just want people to have realistic expectations of what is possible for a regular person within the time span of a year.
@@sindri1447 does he earn a lot from his videos and streams alone? Always thought he had an outside job of sorts. Maybe I'm clueless as to how much youtubers earn..
@@lunablossom5241 youtube is his full time job
I'm so proud of you dude. You set out with some of the most challenging goals giving the global pandemic and absolutely crushed. Great mind and body development, got a freaking OG baller persona with the cigars and drinks, but most impressively you are keeping the grind going. Congrats dude.
Holy shit, I had stopped watching the videos for awhile because of real life things and then obviously Covid struck.
Seeing you now is crazy, you are doing so well and it’s honestly inspiring.
Keep doing you man!! Hope you have even more success and make it even bigger. Maybe I’ll even move to Thailand, looks so great there. (Minus the flood)
Thank you, Peon. Been struggling lately and this will help. Your work is worth doing.
Success or failure doesn't matter. The things you've accomplished are plain for all of your viewers to see. Your tale is inspirational!
dude this is motivational as hell. I hope your 2022 is just as fantastic as your 2021 was !
The work i saw through this video was easily more than i've done for the last 10 years, you should be proud for having the mental fortitude to chase your dreams and goals most of us are just lazy or straight up cant due to all sort of restrictions/responsibilities in our lives right now.
If anything you were/are a great example what hard work can do so thank you and keep it up
Just finished the video, and that last part about him being over 104kg three years ago, unable to motivate himself and rarely go outside, is me right now. Impressive work peon!
Life is an mmorpg series is so good, seeing the progress you made over the years, hope 2022 brings good eps also
Dude, youre stronger, faster, learned new skills and have reached new levels in life. Total success. Six pack is something that only lasts for a couple months and goes away with normal life. Good luck this year!
Peon is the person we gamers should look up to , keep grinding and we will keep growing with you
legit best training arc
This seriously motivates me to do more with my life man. As a shut in, and someone who works at home all day, this is so inspiring. I'm going to level up too now this year. I have pretty much all the same goals as you do, this year minus the investments. Thanks for always entertaining us and motivating me dude. Here's to a great 2022.
How did it go
Always been this indoor gaming addicted introvert and lazy to make changes in life cuz ive been in this comfort zone for too long. This video is inspiring. Need to go out and live life more. Thanks for this video mate.
This is my favourite video you've put out in ages. Loved it and inspired me to get off my ass. I've gone the opposite way to you from six pack to nothing and out of shape with no training but seeing your progress from where you were back when you lived in the UK is chaos. You should he proud of yourself and thanks for the motivation man.
From Peon to fucking Warchief. Holy Hell!
I like you more now than the first time I've subscribed to your ch. You're noticeably more calmer and happy, you've matured. Keep it up bro happy for you!
Really inspiring stuff, LP. You may not have hit level cap, but you absolutely gained a bunch of levels and it shows. Victory isn't always about hitting some arbitrary goal, it's about moving in the right direction. You, sir, are moving in the right direction. Here's to 2022.
Weirdly enough, watching these motivates me to improve myself. Thanks bud.
I'm so happy you made this series and finally "finished" it (although i hope it continues in 2022). I remember watching you a long long time ago when you weren't in the best shape of your life. Raiding with you and the Oathsworn of Karabor in WOD. And then watching you move from the Netherlands to Thailand starting this journey. Can't say i regretted watching any of it. Keep up the amazing work man!
You're not losing any subscribers mate, you're an inspiration, a real quality dude, and your channel and content is among the best in your niche. People won't unsubscribe even if you paid them.
Really good series. Glad you're making progress. I had that kind of revelation right before Covid hit, just as I overcame my blockade to get out there and work on myself, everything got locked up. Brought me down really hard, but giving it a go again.
Thanks and keep it up, it's great motivation for others like me.
I cant remember for how many years im watching your content but you always was transparent with your feelings and things that happening in your life. I think that created a bound, you became a friend to us your audience and now when we see that our fiend is doing so good we are happy and proud!
With love from Poland !
You've had amazing progress, in your personal health and channel. Incredibly proud!
As a tip for the future, if you decide to include Kato in your family, they would 100% benefit from amputation of the useless leg. Cats can live a great, fulfilling life with three legs and it really seems that the nonfunctional front paw is limiting their movement
I hope you make more content like this. How about a second channel just about life in Thailand?
I think this dude just lvl up from lazy peon, to just a peon, good job! Not unsubing after this progres, keep it up and don't slack!
As a longtime follower of your content and a fitness professional myself, I just absolutely love your mindset. Your journey through exercise and wellness is really incredible and keep in mind that everyone's anatomy is different--you could have the exact same bodyfat percentage as another person and their abs would look different than yours! Your type of goalsetting is exactly what I would coach someone on: develop a long-term goal, and then break that down into processes and habits that will be developed over weeks and months in order to achieve that long-term change! Congrats on your journey so far and looking forward to more of the journey to come!
Im so proud of you peon. Also these vlogs have inspired me to lose weight and get back into shape. I used to be a fit guy when i was in the army but when i got out i was depressed and gained a lot of weight. I weight 260 lbs and watching your vlogs, i want to live life too and get in shape so i dont die at 60. If you can do it, theres a chance that i can be happy too =)
Thank you for being.
So happy to hear this, I love when someone decides to do something positive. Please keep up! Don’t give up or stop when it gets difficult!
@@ensar3752 thnx!
Hey man, I just got out. Diagnosed with depression. Overweight. Same story. I've gone to therapy, shit doesn't work. They don't give a fuck about what you say. Don't pay attention. Same old dumbass responses of "have you tried thinking more positively" and "try these breathing excercises" I've tried going to meetups and hanging out with people, I get exhausted trying to be sociable and really uncomfortable.
I used to be in such good shape. 270 pt score, which isn't crazy, but now? Went from 180 to 220 lbs, knees pop, hate myself.
I really don't know what to do. I don't have any motivation to do anything but sleep and eat. I know it's not just motivation that gets you up. It's discipline...but I can't even keep to anything. I'm pathetic right now.
@@Greenfeld13 bob saget died at 65, thats motivation enough for me
I'm really proud to see you striving to meet goals. It's really amazing to see. Hopefully one day I can meet my goals
Very inspiring! As along time mmo player and LazyPeon fan I would love to see more of these! After a long difficult 2 years this really picked me up. Thank you ❤️
This series is by far the best thing on your channel. Can't wait for the next episode!
I'm always amazed by people who have the motivation, endurance, and will to turn new and stressful situations in opportunities for them to grow. Very cool to see you give your all outside of TH-cam. Keep it up :)
I used to not really be a fan of you but I must admit you have shown how much you want to succeed in life and that is truly inspiring. I genuinely enjoy every video you have been putting out lately (even the review ones) and simply wish you the best man.
I really like this series. I do not really have time to play mmos anymore but this real life mmo is really interesting and inspiring to watch.
So I'm a viewer for only a year or so and only on vids that interest me. But after hearing what you have achieved in this vid I went back and looked at a few of your early vids. Good on you my man. I'm super happy for you that you saw a "problem" or what you perceived as a problem and went on a 7 year grind to better yourself. For a mmo player and reviewer, your living most people's dreams. Keep up the drive and get that 6 pack this year. See you in the next one!
We need a new one brother
This is very nice to see, the video at the end of how I had thought you were, or as I left your channel, sadly not watching the journey to this point. But you’ve done this for yourself and happier for it. Well done bro, a real inspiration!
Where's the update for 2022? Gotta find out how you have been faring in the MMORPG of life!
Finally! i cant tell how much i missed this format! Thanks for making! :)
Congrats man! Looking better everyday, you’re a massive inspiration to me in a way where I just can’t believe how far you’ve come. And that’s influenced me because I used to be a junkie, now in 2021, I finally got sober, got a job, a house and now a partner. And you helped inspire me to get better. Much love, maybe one day do a gym stream, I miss you streaming! ❤️❤️❤️
Hey grats on your new life friend!!!
good stuff man keep it up :)
Good job!:)
Bro, I remember your video you made like 3 years ago about your girlfriend breaking up with you and that you had no friends etc and basically said who wants to be my friend? You've transformed into mega chad and I'm pumped for you as I went through basically the same scenario - overweight, depressed no confidence etc and ended up on the fitness grind also and the amount of confidence it gave me feeling happy with my own body and myself made it all worth every second! Keep it up Craig, hopefully you make more vlog content!
Hell yeah looking good bro!
Hugely inspirational!
Floods hit us badly in Malaysia too.
Here's to a better 2022!
"Kato" is a really cute name, especially from my perspective as a portuguese-speaker. "Gato" means Cat in portuguese, which has an very similar pronunciation to "Kato".
Just wanted to say I love that series. I think seeing you grinding in Life is the coolest MMORPG experience.
You're truly an inspiration, well done on everything you've achieved up to this point. Keep up the hard work and great content!
I just recently started the same path as you with pretty much the same backstory playing games and never going outside. So really good to see this video and help my progress. Keep up the good work.
Going to Thailand, where the cost of life is lower, is the best choice, I think. Before Thailand with the same amount of money - a small apartment with no room for activities. In Thailand now - a big villa with a pool and more!
Man!
You are living the life!
I’ve also noticed a definite positive change in you in 2021 from when I 1st began watching your videos. Just on physical appearance alone & only taking it from the neck up there has been a tremendous difference.
Right now you look like a Chris Hemsworth league older brother to the you of 3 years ago. If I didn’t know that that was you 3 years ago, & I saw you as of now next to your 3 year younger counterpart, I would say that I could see a family resemblance, but I would swear that there was no way you were the actual same person.
As for your kickboxing, I would love to be in your shoes there as well. I used to spar freestyle with my friends when I was a teenager & loved it so much. To see that as part of your life as an adult is just magical & definitely something that I would like to possess in mine.
I’m so truly happy for you & hope that you continue to find new chapters in your life to live & that you never have a level cap because leveling up & unlocking new abilities is what makes both games & life fun. Reaching a level cap would just make things become boring & repetitive.
Keep up the good work!
Meh I don't think given the current situation there could've been more done on your part without making sacrifices that you could've regretted. My sub stays. Thanks for letting us peek into your life, and being genuine and an inspiration.
Bro this is inspirational as fuck, I want 2022 to be my year, I feel like the biggest thing I desire and currently lack is finding a new group of like minded people.
Peon maxing out his str and end stats.
Cool Craig, I'm in a similar position and mindset to you and your videos have really inspired me.
Late last year I found work, started going to the gym to lose weight & meeting new people that weren't just online in my comfort zone.
Thank you for making this series and continuing to inspire your followers.
As Winston Churchill said - Perfection is the enemy of progress. Glad you ended the year on a high note Peon and always looks forward to the next upload of this series. Keep grinding friend
Who would have thought your original art portrait was years ahead of it's time. Much respect.
holy fuck this dude is become the becon of being a true alpha male what a fucking amazing transition you're becoming a idol man
I just wanted to say thank you.. Thank you for making these VLOGS.. The production quality is next level.. Absolutely fantastic.. Thanks for Inspiration to try and go out there and do more! Keep up the amazing work!
3:25 looked like a scene straight out of peaky blinders, awesome production, super badass😅
We will never unsubscribe after all the effort a you did and are doing
Im so happy to see that you stayed away from that red pill thing, and just focused more on yourself and not blaming the rest of the world, keep it up my guy you are doing great!
I could never unsub due to that. You worked your ass off, and have results. I respect that!! Keep going man! Keep it up!
Asia is really interesting and cool when you "immerse" yourself with locals people.
Gotta say I really missed the the months you weren't able to upload, but it makes me super happy to see you have achieved a lot of your goals. I hope this year will be an even better year for you. Look forward to the next updates if you intend to continue making them. Cheers!
The real question is....Did you learn to say ''BIG Damage"" in Thai?
I have no idea why I haven't learned this yet! I'll learn it right away 🤣
I remember that promise and eagerly awaited the results. You did great. Proud of you.
Must be nice to live in Thailand were the cost of living are so low, that you are practically doing tax evasion cost and efficiency wise lmao - sick progress on the gym part my dude keep it up
get on the grind and start leveling up! happy for you bro, keep it up, strife for happyness and spread it
I'm thinking of moving to Thailand right now. Been training Muay Thai In America for 2.5 years and it's just not doing it for me. Looking to go out there soon and see if I can get sponsored
I love, love, LOVE this series! I have very similar goals to you but haven't set anything in motion yet, you motivate me so much
Came for the mmorpg content. Stayed for the vlogs. Keep up the good work! Have a happy and healthy 2022!
You're still growing and learning bro, I love seeing your progress. Keep going, I'm not unsubscribing though I want to see you hit that 6 pack goal man!
Dood, your video production quality rivals that of most documentaries these days. Keep up the great work Craig!
Damn dude, extremely impressed by your personal growth! Been watching your videos for years and you just keep dominating life more and more.
This is my favorite video you have made no doubt
As a gamer this is surprisingly my favorite TheLazyPeon content
idk why but i love watching this story unfold. it shows if you have clear and realistic goals you can most likely achieve them if you strive to follow the plan you made. I especially like the fact you kind of revived and found yourself again after the debacle that was Kampen. I can only imagine that must have been tough so big respect for showing us what is possible..
Man, i suscribed to you years ago way before your break up, and i never though you'd ever be an inspiration to me, how quick things can change, i wish you all the best brother.
i cant understate how incredible this video was. you are my idol. truly. you encaptulate everything i want out of life. thank you for doing what you do.
that last line in your video really hit hard. thank you
I would never unsubscribe! I follow you since before you left EU and it has been exiting to see your progress and what did you achieve in this years. I truly dislike influencers but i think your vlogs are very inspiring, you are good person. Love !
You're truly an inspiration! I don't know if I'll ever reach these goals, but I'm so happy for your progress!
"Great success!" in my worst Borat accent. Great job, the traveling and kickboxing/muay thai looks like so much fun.
I love your channel but this series is my favorite thing you've done. Happy for you
