I’m partially convinced that the reason that K. Rool stood the test of time in people’s minds, despite never being a very stand-out villain, is how memorable and lovable his theme song(s) is/are. He really doesn’t have much of a claim to fame, other than nostalgia, and his music is a huge part of that nostalgia. So now, after 15 years since the last time it was heard, we get this glorious new rendition of it. Sold.
