Solution to the puzzle: 1. a7 check by knight, 2. Black knight takes then rook C1 check. 3. Black knight comes back on c6 4. Rook takes on c6 5. Black pawn takes rook 6. Bishop a6 is checkmate
Yeah i didnt find the rook check in This variation either.. Not easy to spot the open file for the rook when its closed in the starting position. So i thought h7 looked crushing. Perhaps it is.. But i didnt see any forced mate there.

Puzzle answer ( I think) Knight to a7 He needs to capture with his knight, then rook to C1 If Black queen covers then QxC7 If knight covers then rook captures knight so black takes rook with pawn then bishop to a6 checkmate
Love the idea of seeing an application of every mate involving a sacrifice, considering pins and other tactics. A wonderful and sweet short review. Very useful for people who are scared to sacrifice and cannot see all tactics.

Very interesting video. The Legal's Mate is very interesting. I deal back rank, supported-queen/other piece and corridor mates most often against the computer. I thought Na7 (kNight to a7) was the best move (this was before I looked at the comments; the comments confirmed my theory. I won't explain how checkmate occurs; others have done so earlier). Great job!
My attempt for the puzzle: Knight to A7 check, sacrificing our Knight. Black Knight takes the white Knight for free. Then we will play Rook C1 check. He has to block with the Knight, Knight C6. ( Because obviously we don't want to lose our queen.. right? ) Then the Rook takes the Knight on C6. Pawn captures Rook. And now we will play Bishop to A6. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲. 1. Knight to a7 2. Black Knight must have to take White's knight 3. Rook c1 "Check" 4. Black queen covers the check by queen c7 5. Finally White's queen takes Black's queen and it's a beautiful "CHECKMATE". Thank you sir for this precious information it will surely help me in my matches 🙏❤
Answer for the puzzle: 1. Na7!! Sacrificing a Knight for checkmate. White has to accept the Knight so Nxa7. 2. Rc1 check, only move for black is Knight back to c6 so Nc6. Then comes the final blow 3. Rxc6 and white is completely busted, again the only move is pawn takes c6 so bxc6. 4. And now Ba6 is a beautiful mate as the Queen covers all the important squares and the Bishop delivers checkmate.
The answer of the puzzle - First the Knight should move to A7 and then most of the people takes the Knight with their Knight. The you just move your Rook to A1 and then capture his Knight at A7 then when you move your Rook to A8 and then that's a beautiful checkmate.
