This is where my wife and I are currently learning to shoot. Fantastic place, friendly staff and we are having an excellent time with our instructor, Russ. Can’t speak highly enough about the place.
I just got my SGC, I'm a member at oak lodge in billingham also a really friendly ground. Have you used the clay mate yet, as I shoot alone I think I might pop down in the week if I get home from work.
Quality shoot Nice banter Well done for an entertaining video lad's, Looks like I'll be visiting the mother in laws more often she's 5mins down the road from there 👍🏻👍🏻
This is my favourite shooting ground right now. My son and I shoot 150 each here every week. Other shooters actually acknowledge you and pass the time of day.. Cannot fault the place. Lovely staff, good food, good prices and a minimum of no birds. Highly recommended.
Got my new pup sat on my knee listening to her first gun shots great way to introduce her 👍🏼love your videos and definitely have to visit these clay grounds
Went to Thimbleby today with some friends and it was great. 50 each then a breakfast and then another 50 each. We shot the sport trap with a twist to finish. Which we called it mop up. The primary shooter calls for their bird and if they miss it the next shooter "mops up". This helps you dry practice and forces you to shoot later than normal. Lovely clean location.
@@lloydyp clearly intimidated by your superior talent so he’s desperate for you to use a gun of lower quality. You could ace those stands with a Baikal, we both know that 👍
I've watched a lot of these videos and the guide/caddy/etc. seems to always load for you. Is there a reason for that? I'm from the US, so not sure if it's a UK law thing
Same question for @ant. I’m 5’8” with an 18” collar, if I find a waistcoat that fits me up top, it’s normally so long, I may as well tuck the cartridges in my socks 🤣
@@antmclearnon8796 Perhaps a whole series ? "Fieldsports... Get at 'em" by Ant McLearnon . In this weeks episode Ant "Gets at" Big Game Fish" next week he will be "getting at Grouse" possibilities are endless !
Please can we have a club for those that hit the Thimbleby rabbit pair with 1 shot? Similar to a Woodcock left/right but this one is pure luck obviously, even if you do get at 'em! 😆

Another amazing video to support the shooting sport and the shooting grounds in the UK. I will pay this a visit.
Epic video, loved shooting there with you guys. Top ground!!
No way! You found TH-cam!!!
Cracking video and cracking banter with mates 👏👏
Oh man, Phillip is great, he taught me a lot about shooting when he was still at Bywell. Top bloke!
Top entertainment Jonny and a brilliant advertisement for Thimbleby.
My 2 favourite gun reviewers together, great stuff guys🍻🍻
Me and Ant I assume 😂
@@lloydyp who are you? 😂😂😂😂
Cheers Lloyd
Outstanding 👏
Yeah I agree, a great shooting ground, done the sporting a few times. Hopefully all being well picking my new gun up from there this weekend!
I actually gave this the thumbs up before I watched it....I just knew it would be great from the intro alone :-)
....and it was!
Great video 👍 Love the countryside
Fantastic video
Great vid👍
Nice one lads! Cracking looking ground. Keep up the good work!
Great video guys, looked like a lovely place to shoot , and a brilliant day out. Thick Lloyd needs his browning 😁
Why?
Because it might have changed the outcome of a competition than none of us really cared about winning Thicc Lloyd

"Anything is a high bird for you ain't it" 😂😂😂😂😂
Another very memorable video. I miss being over there.
Really good and funny 👍
One of my local grounds but it's like watching a flat shooting version of Top Gear
You know you're trying for barrels too hot to touch when your mate is loading on the break for you!🌶
Most excellent
Nice video, keep doing this great work.
Brilliant Johnny
And to think, Jonny was only using 1% of his true skill in this video.
Mad but brilliant 😜😜
HATERS! What a good looking course
Hello, what do you think about the Sauer Apollon ? The silver pigeon Is it a better option ? Thanks
Hello. It´s crap. No. Welcome.
I'm not joking but my dad runs these days, what was your favourite drive oak dale?👍
Excellent video, I really enjoyed it. So what's the story on the Longthorn?
You only get one set of eyes. Get a good set of glasses and wear them Johnny
One of my favourite grounds except from E.J. Churchill at Swinton Estate
17:55 what happened there?
That's Jonny shooting his Miroku after getting used to his Longthorne...
Привет хорошый полигон у вас там🙂👍😁

All fun mate what challenge
Who was making the owl 🦉 noise? Fantastic video lads
Hey Jonny, what vest do you wear?

Tan taking the piss out of Ant. 😂😂
Pair of child size northerners should have stuck together
Nice new club house
Grandad enjoys an outing with his grandchildren
😂 😂 😂 lucky we take him out of the home at all
"enjoyed"
Not going to introduce Countrygirlandlabradors? 😄
No reason to, its not about her.
Good sports all……
hilarious
Cheeky rabbit clays with a SxS! Think she’s got the right idea!
She shoots a SxS because she likes it, not because its the best tool for the job. Don´t make it in to something special just because she´s a woman.
👋👋👋👋🇵🇰🇵🇰
Is SxS gal married?
Why do you want to know?
