We need a "Things Hishikaku is not allowed to do" with only one line;
- Unable to associatiate himself with A.I. in any capacity.
Nah do a full list and slap that on the end in bold caps just to add salt to the wounded ego
I'm really tired of Hishikaku being the Foundation's designated whipping boy.
In Shrek voice to Hishikaku: Can you not be the villain of the story, FOR 5 MINUTES?!
If I had time to write a Tale, I could certainly use Hishikaku as he was earlier portrayed, before a bunch of writers all decided to take a dump on him, and make him the hero of the piece. As is, I really don't know how the hell he has a job at the Foundation at all, given the overwhelming number of bad situations he's been found responsible for.
46:50 "All Libraries are connected to the Wanderer's library after all". Gentlemen, we finally have a way to get into the Wanderer's library. See you all there soon, I'm off to explore my own public library for the way in.
This is one elaborate way to take a vacation on a beach
My emperor it's third dimension Logan here sir ahem.
Might need an animated adaptation, that moment.
8-ball on the beach 😂
Don't you mean... "Elabor-8?"😁
All this effort just for a drop of Bloody Marry.
Im blown away by the complex narrative that these authors weave.
I got 666 problems and my witch ain’t one is probably one of the best lines ever
"Dragula" playing over a massive battle of basketball demons and the staff of the Wanderer's Library is the perfect insane cherry on top of a giant, insane cake
Also, my jaw actually dropped at the reveal of Agent S' true identity. I like when new SCP stories reference the first series, and it feels cathartic seeing the Witch Child finally escape others' control.
I'm guessing the figure that escaped was probably Doctor Clef, and I'd totally read an SCP article about a grown-up Witch Child vs Clef
"oh boy 2 am" we all say in unison
3am for me :(
CST stay on top
9am for me haha perfect for waking up
This series is going to be a great rewatch.
I must admit, this has been harder to follow than other ones.
Rewatch bonuses galore!
As soon as it's done ima make a playlist
Another one where the summary at the end was REALLY helpful for me
"To summarize that summary, Cimmerian...." 🤣🤣🤣
Perfect time to listen to while driving to work.
I can just imagine what an SCP courtroom story would be like. Especially with Murphy Law as a witness. Metaphysics meets Pataphysics with quadruple crosses and 4 linked 3 half-twist mobius strips. For one thing, we find out that Wettle is the guy's FIRST name: His last is Iopantz and we meet O5-00 who turns out to be the entity from which 096 and 682 are distillates of. This all part of the tiral of Hishikaku for impersonating Donald Trump and Joe Biden, who have both been dead for 50 years as part of a scheme to replace Bill Belecek with 049 to give new meaning to the phrase among strong athletes, "you're a beast" to create new recruits for the Sarkists in the 25th century, allegedly to avoid the final victory of the 5thist Church as well as not having to suffer through endless retellings of the story of Buck Rogers
The basketball demon pulling out a boombox and playing dragula by far my favorite thing I have ever heard on this channel! It's beyond ridiculous hilarious and so fitting. Fantastic!
8-Ball: What Steve doesn't know is that I have my own plan.
"8888" has 8 balls
I have two!!
45:48 It should be "Ball's well that ends well".
Woah woah woah... didn't this all start by saying the 8 Ball was perfect cuz it had NO deviance??? Now we learn that it had a devious will of its own in the end all along! Also, this implies that it'll have a vacation on the beach every like few millenia, but y didn't it just ask the Foundation for some time off? If it has a will of its own, that means it's loyal to the Foundation, as it actively assists in its own containment and release, so it's logical to conclude it wouldn't predict anything for those it doesn't wanna help. It should be classified as self-contained and thaulmiel. Even if the Foundation refuses, they now know its an unstoppably strong asset anomaly thats allied with The witch, who is also insanely powerful. They could blackmail or bribe the founddation to get their way.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one that felt this way about the story. At least it gives a conclusion to was 237 has been up to. It's no longer a little girl in containment. But yeah this was a hard listen since it took too many turns
Rule one of the foundation: assume every narrorator is unreliable and every rule can be broken at any time.
36:23 love this part, uploaded 3 mins ago but can confirm this is a certified exploring series classic
They're like full on novels now. I miss the weirder one-shot style of the old SCP though.
Wait, I thought that the whole thing that made 8 Ball special was that it can't deviate from instruction, and lacks a will of its own. How could it independently plan anything?
Considering how it analyzes the entire universe in its calculations, and any questions “asked” to it are already pre-known (the answers are just sent right when the question is being asked), it’s entirely possible that it simply _Pretended_ to have no will, and just acted how everyone expected it “should” act.
Lesson one hishikaku is always wrong
Am I the only one who incoherently screeches "THE ROUNDERPEDE!" every time the eighth archavist is mentioned????
I would love to see you cover SCP-7838 in the future! Similar to SCP-7676, it's a sort of culmination about the Hanged King, and it's a very interesting read
Gotta be my new favorite scp story, its got everything
I like it too but Murphy law montauk falcon will always be my number 1
46:06 to 48:35
WHAT??? WHAT?? That is the most convoluted hiest story I've ever heard. The writers of the hiest episode of Rick and Morty couldn't even dream of a story this good. My mind is litterally blown, now this is a good SCP tale
😭 did anyone else think Nobody was gonna be involved?
It's always a good story when nobody's in it.
This one was CRAZY. Would love to see this animated! Love your story telling, details, and amazing breakdown of all these SCPs!!! Never stop!!
The Exploring Series is in a league of its own! Awesome Excellence 👏👏👏😊👍
OH BOY 3AM FINALE LETS GOOOOOOO
Been loving this, what an ending. These 4 videos are the only heist film I'll ever need again.
I swear to God if this series is gonna have 8 parts 😂
Only four parts, it seems.
@@michaelandreipalon359 well, 4 is half of 8, so close enough I suppose
A missed "Endless Eight" reference opportunity.
@@ivanpetrov5255I appreciate your commitment to a now 15 year old reference.
@@ivanpetrov5255 How dare ya?!
That was an insane ride. Thank you for covering it 🙏😃
it's 3 am, yipieee!
It has been a ride. 😂
Yee
Wow.... That's was just wow. An amazing SCP that definitely deserves its 8888 spot.
Spoilers. But the twist that got me the most that agent S was SCP-239. I was not expecting her to show up in this one. Damn that's was wild.
(Would be even more wild if the beach they some how was at was in SCP-6001)
I adore this article. Kudos to the writers! And TES rendition was great as always!
I cleared my schedule for this!
The afternoon just got interesting
Is Director House…. A Fallout New Vegas reference?
WOO! TES TIME! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
The 8 ball escapes
I have no idea what's going on but I'm enjoying it
If you know about eighth commandment and 7579 for understanding hisiki and loser for dr wettle to understand the character
Well I am kind of happy for Agent S in the end however conciseness of 8888 was unexpected and in the end Foundation got the rougher end of all that so I am not one with that "all's well" part.
[SCP3812 wuz hare]
To put it lightly, this was a rather crazy one. And extremely hilarious!
3am after watching the world record run for Another Crabs Treasure, LFGoooooooo!
I need that face shield for both of the same reasons.
“Why didn’t you dodge?”
“My face is my shield!”
I like the story as a whole. And the presentation here is great. This feels like a really cheap and gaudy attempt to give 239 a happy ending that really doesn't work well with that scp. Love the video however
Ngl I hate these long scps. every time I see a part 2,3 etc after a week waiting is killing me..
The liminal anomalies are the best ones like that hotel one or the train ticket or the teleport guy or the endless staircase, not these unreasonably complex ones.
Just a opinion I wanted to share otherwise I love your work.
But longer/multi-part SCPs are TES’s specialized niche within the community. :/
@@UGNAvalon if he gets a majority support then so be it, go with what works 🤷♂️ i just wanted to share my opinion
May I ask you to cover SCP-8000? I have been attached to your videos for several years now. Since English is not my first language, I cannot understand most of the details from the readings of other channels. So it would be great if you can provide an explanation for this SCP
The real heist was the friends we made on the way
This story has a ton of Plot Holes but we got a super Cute Witch out of it. ❤
"Saccolski replies he has a magic face shield against COVID"
I imagine most people in the real world think that too
I mean, if it protects against punches, I think germs would be no issue for its magic. 🤷♂️
I... think I'll need to relisten to this whole thing over at some point. I definitely lost the thread and have gotten confused, somewhere in the mess of that heist.
Wait can someone tell me what Hishikaku did wrong? I thought Saccolski was the one in charge of the site at the start of the story? Or am I remembering things all wrong?
So 8888 heisted itself?
BTW: I did catch the tree branh reference
That looks like a phallic shaped cloud in the middle.
oh boy! it’s 12am!
As soon as I heard that the heist-target was the Wanderer’s Library, my first thought was “How did they come to that conclusion? What evidence was used to reach that conclusion??” And since it turns out that there was already an anomalous Group of Interest that specializes in magical heists, why wasn’t that GoI their first suspect??
As entertaining as this was (& time travel shenanigans aside), I feel like this was overall just wacky hijinks for the sake of wacky hijinks. Even from an in-universe perspective, the logic that resulted in all this just doesn’t make much sense. :/
Yeah this one was impossible to follow. Every single thing that happens seems to come out of nowhere.
Can’t wait to check this out😮
4 weeks of ok videos
*OH BOY! IT'S 3AM!!*
OH BOY ITS 3AM
(welcome back night owls ☕️)
thanks tes :)
Bravo...
Geas is pronounced "gesh" it's a Gaelic word.
Yes
I have listened to this series at least three times and I still don't fully understand the story.
I was going to say how much I dislike the ending because I dislike reality benders (especially the way "the Witch" is written, ugh), but I actually love the ending now.
10:34 someone watches MSSP
RAHHH 3am
Ballsy, not minding that SCP-6500 centipedal creature much.
10:30: Kriff. That devilish artemisian Alucard iteration and his pet Seras better not be nearby.
Good to see SCP-040 doing, umm, well.
Wait... Agent S was actually the Witch Child?!
17:20: What type?
19:34: Oh-kay.
Knew the article's Macguffin was actually still in an SCP facility. Didn't know about it being in a different facility than predicted and also being stolen again though... *and then...*
At least the "doctor scrappy" of the Foundation was given harsh charges. Sucks to be a technician third-class.
That beach ending sequence needs a traditionally animated, superlatively voice acted adaptation. Not sure why I'm saying this, but whatever.
Damn, Cimmerian, talk about going beyond a Hououin Kyouma.
Damn
3AM on the dot like always
Yes I am trying t9 to pick on Ya Fren
I don't get it
Top 30
Yipeeeeee
Do scp 166 please
Didn’t he already cover 166 in the video explaining Dr Clef?
@@UGNAvalon he did the old version
Egged
1 hour and
Can you do movies? Scp
Love your vids but I'm waiting for the "All parts" upload. I'm too impatient and learned not to watch them in parts if the next isn't out because I get rather angry at you unjustly. So I will leave it till they're all out as one video.
H
idk chief, kinda too much random shit tbh. Also too long. 3/10
Can we talk about how the SCP wiki is nothing but super long novellas now? What happened to simple entries? I don’t want to read a 300 page article, I want a simple interesting monster, demon, god, ghost or cursed artifact. What happened to the community? Simple is better.
There still is, exploring series just likes to do the longer content ones
There are thousands of entries that fit what you're looking for.
For the last time, The Exploring Series purposefully choose longer SCPs because his channel specializes in long-form content. The only people who says stuff like this genuinely do not actually read the SCP wiki. If the Exploring Series was to do a “simple” article it would take less than 5 minutes.
That's because you're looking wrong! Longer ones get more representation on this channel *because* there's more to cover. In reality, shorter entries are still very much common, literally just look at the 'Shortest Pages in the Last 30 Days' page, it's *right* there.
Another banger at 2am
