I have some beautiful hand made ergonomic wooden hooks and a hook stand made by a man in England. I much prefer the weight and feel of the wooden hooks, there’s a warmth to them that you don’t get with the rubber handles. Ahhhh the dreaded interruptions, if I start counting loudly when someone tries to talk to me they go away until I tell them I’m finished lol. This looks really interesting, I’ll need to get some good yarn in and give it a try once I’ve finished a blanket for granddaughter number 2.
