I'm such a bad fan. I didn't even know she had an official channel. I was worried that she was just going to leave this new album on SoundCloud, but I'm glad she put it on iTunes. If you haven't heard it yet, it's called Million Things, and is full of bops.
these are the types of artists I really want to see getting big in SK. They are out there, we just miss them because they aren't a part of the big companies. She's beautiful and this entire album is amazing.

That's the problem with Korea, if you're a freelance artist you can't best recognized. You have to be a trainee, enter a big company and the public (trough TV and agressive marketing) will know you. It's sad
I know it's the reality, but it still seems like a poor excuse. We mostly have access to the same TH-cam videos. All it takes is curiosity and a sense of adventure; there's gold hidden in these mines, whether you start digging from the U.S., UK, Korea, wherever.

Nah, Audy Bear is right, it's mostly just a Korea thing. America is different. Someone like Yeseo could blow up in America with a label behind her. The closest comparison I can think about with her is someone like The Weeknd or SZA. She's got this dark, horny R&B sound that sells well over here. That doesn't sell in Korea tho. You can't be like Yeseo over there. 2NE1 is about as peak-horny as it got, and that was still pretty mild and ingenuine at the end of the day, they were just idols at their core.
