Kelleher deserves to be a starter in a Prem side. He's so good and I've been saying so for years. I understand why he's decided to stay at Liverpool and play second fiddle but man, he's so good and better than a lot of first-choice GKs in the prem.
@@MrSkiller703 smart with his feet never makes mistakes, quick off his line, good reflexes and diving, commanding from the air. What more could u want from a goalkeeper? He can't do what alisson does but then again alisson is a special special player, possibly top 5 keepers in history
He's without a doubt a top 9-10 GK in the league. Anyone who has watched him regularly knows this. His only weakness is consistency and even that is down to his playtime. It's really difficult for a GK to find proper consistency when you’re only getting 25% of the overall game time.
He’s learning off Allison you can see in his play forest offered £15m for him think he would be better staying instead of battling relegation if abig club came in that’s a big decision he’s enjoying life at the moment would he away from Liverpool I’m not so sure
The youth players at Liverpool are kept grounded by the coaches and management. There is a wage cap in place, they must continue studies if they are of age and they aren't allowed to buy a car above a certain engine size and price I believe. That all goes to trying to get them to focus on playing and their team-mates. The club is trying to guide them away from all the money and hype in the beginning so the young lads can really show how much they want it. That's just amazing to have in place.....it will remain in place even when Kloppo leaves.
The priority is of course the pl and anything else is a bonus. Hopefully the team will be back to full strength in the next couple of weeks to help us push on.
This episode was world class. Insight, bit of banter without going crazy, and honesty throughout. Legit one of the best sports podcast episodes of all time. Congratulations. Everyone should listen to this.
I think the Quads a big ask in fact winning another will be tough when you see the games Liverpool have and the injuries. I love my Liverpool but it's a bridge too far.
100 per cent with the injury list at this moment I'd be happy with just one more trophy this talk about a quadruple is just bull and anybody talking it up is full of it.
The way the media is misquoting Poch . he didn't say they were playing for penalties. He said at the time Virg scores the winner you'd think the game was going to go to pens
I need to defend Bruno here, you could see after that he was limping and trying to get rid of the pain while still playing. So I think media is turning a thing to the opposite because when Bruno take that second shoot he actually get up from pain to be involved in the game
Agreed. They're acting like he's the first player in the league to go down and then get back up and carry on plus, like you said, you could he was in actual pain for the next 3-5 minutes afterwards.
Contrary to what mark said, saliba alone would be a big miss for arsenal. Same with last season, it was the combination of saloba and tomiyasu. Arteta and co have built the squad if everyone is fit at the back we can afford to miss saliba. Ben white, Tomi, and timber are all classily centre backs. Kiwior can deputise at fall back; and if we want to be frivolous rice could step back as a CB.
Back at Marks argument that arsenal or City would have ripped us apart. We brought on three of those lads vs Arsenal in the FA cup and won the game 2-0. They came on at 0-0.
I'm a Liverpool fan of 35+ years. If we had a fully fit squad I'd say we would at least win the league title this season. But with major players out, several until the end of March, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the league cup is the only trophy we win this season. If we have a heavy depleted squad come the City game, they could really hit us big time. I hope I'm wrong.
Great points made about Man U. They keep switching coaches when the problem is they have no leader in the dressing room or on the field. Is there even anyone like Roy Keane out there that can whip them into shape? I can think of very few and they are all spoken for and will not come to Man U while they are like this or at the end of their career.
Klopp is more with very little compared to City, Man U and Chelsea. I want to believe that’s why he’s drained especially to compete with City for that long. To get 90 plus points twice and not win the league is insane! No matter how much points you get it doesn’t matter until you finish above City.
As an Arsenal fan, listening about cursed captains. Can say it feels true. However. Odegaard has taken his game up a level and now feels at home. All depends on the character.
I hate how ever loves Eddie Howe purely cos he’s English, I think this season he’s found himself very lucky to not be sacked, yet ten hag gets slated week in week out
I’m not sure what the disconnect seems to be between the media and some fans with United. There is no shock, the 4 games in a row they won they barely deserved to win 1. If you look at performance and not just the results there’s no surprise For how awful they have played they are doing incredibly well because the reality is with how they have played they should be in 10th or worse.
LFC lost their longstanding captain and vice captain last summer, and now VVD is captain, and Trent vice captain. After that there is a host of leaders like Szoboszlai, Endo, Mac Allister. It's a poisoned chalice at Utd.
I don't know any Liverpool supporter who thinks we'll win the quadruple (as it were). It's nearly impossible and with all of the injuries we have we'll be fortunate to win the league.
Considering the 2020 final with Villa and City got a global audience of 100million, I’d say a final involving Liverpool and Chelsea would attract a much, much larger audience than that especially when the territories covered and number of broadcasters has grown since then. These figure also don’t take into account how many people may be watching each individual broadcast, just that one confirmed broadcast = 1 viewer. ‘Illegal’ streams also won’t be factored in. Officially, 1.5 billion watch the World Cup final but the true figure is double or even triple that when you factor in how many people gather in pubs, stadiums, and around other big screens in city centres etc
Please get an Analyst on the show. Broaden your horizons lads. It's a bit of a struggle to listen to "Keep it tight at the back", "Buy Premier League proven players" cliches . Phil must have the record for talking the most without saying much! Quiz is great though
