I did not like this movie at first, why? Because it felt confusing, disorderly and troll, it's why I also didn't like John Wick at first and why I never watched any Deadpool movies, it's the feeling of not knowing what is going on that immediately makes some of us dislike things in the moment, most people might not mind it or like that feeling but I don't. But the more I watched reactions to it and the more details I learned through comments the more I started to appreciate it.

Did you know you can open a three digit combination lock in 2 to 3 minutes? All you need to do is hold the latch while you scroll. start at 000 then wildly scroll the first digit from 0 to 9. That should take less then a second. Now bump it up to 010 and do it again. Keep going until you do all 99 combinations. The moment the combination hits the right number it will unlock because you were holding the latch open. Him sitting in the bathroom trying to unlock the briefcase always reminds me of this.
This movie is stupid fun, I'm glad you liked it too. I thought it was amazing how all the threads of the story were connected. My favorite character is the Water Bottle, what an arc.
David Leitch, who directed this, also directed Deadpool 2. David used to be Brad Pitt’s stunt double, and so Ryan Reynolds & David thought it would be fun to have Brad do a cameo as Vanisher. Brad agreed as long as Ryan agreed to cameo in a future film, which turned out to be this one. Ryan, Brad & Channing Tatum are all friends which is how Channing ended up with cameos in both this movie and Free Guy. Rumor is he might show up in Deadpool & Wolverine…

I got on a bullet train for the first time earlier this year, and yeah they are very cool looking like this, specially the Haruka line. Funny enough, bullet trains wouldn’t actually take all night to get from tokyo to Kyoto since it is only a 2 hour trip. Still, this movie did get the stops right and made the stations of this fictional line look very accurate.

The Americans replied by saying that they should have it hit a turkey carcass at full speed to prove if it was ready for anything. After Many trials and unbearably constant failures, the Japanese were ready to give up on having high speed trains, but they decided to send the Americans their test results footage to find out what they could possibly be doing wrong, and after reviewing their footage the Americans gave one simple reply: "Thaw the Bird."

I saw this one in Dolby Cinema at AMC. One of 2022's best, both for that summer and the year. Impressive cast, so many storylines. Shades of Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino's films. All over the place. Twists, turns and cyclones. I was so easily caught in this from the first trailer. "Maria Beetle" is the novel that the film is based on and the title character played by Sandra Bullock sounded and looked so good. Definitely a unique movie (except for the wedding which reminds of Kill Bill). Express trains do actually look like that in most countries. There really is one conductor (with a few stops there is no need for more) and one catering lady. Of course, the physics of catching up a speeding train, holding onto it, standing on top - those are BS of course.

I saw this flick on the Thursday sneak prior to its official release. I had a lot of fun with this flick. I basically got what I expected going in, knowing who directed it. For me, it was a stacked cast. That said, the unknown virus of unspecified origin was still very much a thing, and this was in the middle of the second real attempt to get people back to theaters.
I saw this film on the way back from Osaka to Los Angeles last year, and it was SO insane and awesome. :D Also, yes, Vickie, that's what bullet trains really look like. Maybe not with all the assassins, but the rest... yeah.

The critics just didn't get it, because they are Henry's (bit dumb, self-absorbed). This is a beautifully made, highly-stylised, masterpiece with serious Tarantino and Guy Ritchie vibes. By the way, yes more recent Shinkansen DO look like that (to reduce noise pollution at tunnel portals due to the speed), ARE that nice and clean, and often DO have random carriages entirely themed to cartoon series, or other uniquely-Japanese cultural references. i just finished bingeing all of your Pirate of the Carabian Reactions and as i am getting to sleep (8am Australian dont judge me) i see "Bullet Train" and its an insta Click. this movie is too good for me not to stay awake an hour longer to watch your reaction. EDIT: Bloody worth it.
I really like this movie. It's so wonderfully witty. They give you such a window (door?) into each character, that you really care - or at least are interested - about what is going to happen to them. I laughed out loud when they spent a good 10 minutes on a backstory for The Wolf, and then killed him off moments later through sheer bad luck. Lemon and Tangerine are probably my favorite characters, they just had so much depth, and such an interesting relationship. And the dialogue! Wonderful. Then of course there's the cameo trade. Brad Pitt famously showed up in Deadpool 2 for about two seconds. Now, Ryan Reynolds shows up here for about two seconds. And the random Channing Tatum cameo... I do love an accent. I read a lot of the negative reviews, and for most of them, they thought the movie was random or disjointed. It was nothing of the sort. It all made sense by the end, with every thread weaving together before most of them were cut short. Some people just have limited attention spans and no sense of humor, is what I figure.
This was a real standout movie for me. I expected it to be cheesy, which it was, but it was such pure unadulterated fun. The cinematography and direction were really creative, the jokes were funny, the characters were memorable. It completely owns its silliness.
If you check out these movies: Deadpool 2 and The Lost City, then you will see the way all the films are "connected." I think this movie is so underrated and I also don't know why! I thought the movie was a nice departure from John Wick while dealing with vengeance as well. But I think it was a bit more cerebral than that. Of course the fights were not as awesome in every case, but I think the characters really help to shore the movie up! Lemon and Tangerine were a legit pair of characters that I not only started to get invested in, but now I want to know more about their adventures! It was like Pulp Fiction meets John Wick meets Deadpool! And your reactions were so fun to watch! Thanks for being ahead of the curve on this one!
24:20 - among the many many many other train things wrong with the train things in this movie, no he's not that strong. The trains I drive have glass about 3-4cm thick and I have personally had stones thrown at them while I was driving 100kmh, and while they cracked, they did not shatter. On the other hand you'd be surprised how little air drag there'd be where he was standing, so besides the slippery surface thing you would probably be able to crouch there and not be pushed off by the airflow.
The only people that don't like this movie are Diesels.

this movie is too good for me not to stay awake an hour longer to watch your reaction.
This movie was so much fun! 😂
I hope a bunch of these actors keep making unexpected cameos in each others movies. It reminds me of the Sandler / Schnider / Buscemi cameos, lol.
You will have to cosplay as that character since you loved her outfit so much
This was a real standout movie for me. I expected it to be cheesy, which it was, but it was such pure unadulterated fun. The cinematography and direction were really creative, the jokes were funny, the characters were memorable. It completely owns its silliness.
This was the funniest movie of the year, just beautiful and well done.
Speaking of Bullets, watch Lethal Weapon 1-4. That series is FANTASTIC 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿.
He's Quicksilver, remember? 23:45
True.
*Aaron Taylor-Johnson* portrays as *Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver* in *AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (2015).*
This is a great movie freaking loved every minute of this movie
This is the 8th time I have seen reaction as well as watched it 3 times. A great movie.
I always defer to audience ratings on RT, not the default tomatometer by "professional critics"
28:22 it seems like bad luck to get bitten by the snake but it actaully saved him from using the rigged gun
