- As we harvest images from books and magazines, sometimes they are not perfect due to a missing body part, or some flaw in the printed image.
These imperfect images are still highly usable for decorating your ephemera, Journals, happy mail, etc.
In this video I decorate some ephemera pieces using illustrations that are decidedly imperfect. Along the way I give tips on cutting to maximise the options and provide ways of how those flawed pieces can be made to look great.
I hope you join me, even craft along with me.
Thanks for popping by. Please consider subscribing to my channel. I would love to hear from you, too, so please leave a thumbs up and/or comment.
In this video I used label and flower printables from Artzology on Etsy. My own "Vertical Words Plus" printables, available on Etsy.
Also used were my handmade labels (video coming soon). - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Oh what a find. I remember pouring over those pattern catalogues in fabric shops.
I was thrilled to get it. Only problem is I now want more. The images are so cool.
Fantastic work! Gorgeous images
Thank you, Selina ☺
They turned out so cute Belinda!
Thank you, Lydia. It's hard to go wrong with such beautiful illustrations to work with.
Great idea I love it! I am new and live in the USA 🇺🇸
Hi Donna and thanks for joining me here. I'm thrilled you've found something to love on my channel. There's a giveaway happening on my latest video if you want to check it out. 😉
Hey there! I'm new to your channel! I love these fussy cut images from a pattern book. brings back my childhood! And i spend a lot of time avoiding any adulting! I'm from Montana in the USA. i live on a ranch in the middle of nowhere and love being a hermit! LOL
Hello Wyna. So nice to have you join me here. The pattern books do give a very nostalgic feel to me, too. Hope it's nice over there in Montana and not too hot. 🙂
Some great ideas and lovely ephemera. Sub from across the ditch (Australia). I’m with you, I also don’t like “adulting” and would happily be called a hermit 😂 ( I don’t think it an insult). Good luck with the car and the doctors. Love and prayers 💖🙏🕊🇦🇺
Hello 'neighbour' 😁 Fortunately the adulting went OK and was over pretty quickly. Then I got to play again. Thanks so much for joining me here 😊
Nice video! I found discountinued pattern books this weekend at Hobby Lobby....they were $4 each......and I thought it was a great investment for so many images. Thanks for sharing your tips.
Oh what a great find, Sherry. Enjoy. Thank you so much for watching and commenting 😊

They are a fabulous resource, but hard to come by, unfortunately. 🥰 Thank you, sweet.
@@visualisednz yes, I did ask at one of our large, well know craft shops about them. Goodness gracious, you would think I had asked for their 1st born child.
