Thank you so much Stefan for show casing the level of commitment our national carrier has in maintaining its safety and services standards! - Proud Fijian! Vinaka - Sota Tale! (Thank you - see you again!)
Its was an honor havin u join us during our service training....had so much fun trying to serve ur bloody mary😂😂 Hopefully I would be able to serve u in ur nxt flight in the future😊😊
Great behind the scenes training video, Stef. I don't think I've ever seen so much behind the scenes flight training in one video, yet. Think you're the first! Thanks to Fiji Airways, too!
It’s really cool seeing such good training standards from a smaller airline. I have seen videos like this from the likes of Qantas and singapore airlines. I think it helps break my illusion that that smaller airlines from a not as well to do places or places with poor safety records are hard to be trusted as safe. I think I’ll forever be cautious but syndical I will not be. I think it’s really beautiful that you chose a smaller airline to showcase it rather than the easier to come across opportunities from the large airlines in more prominent countries.
Absolutely brilliant Fiji Airways. What a fantastic facility. Am looking forward to flying with you again asap. You're service, staff, & flight crew are terrific. A great airline
I’ve just flown 8 sectors across two return trips with Fiji airways on A350s and an A330 between Sydney and Silicon Valley. The A350 in particular is fantastic. Their business class product is as good as anyone else in the world. And their onboard service is superb. My only criticism is that their lounge in Nadi is small, a bit crowded, and is underprovisioned with showers and toilets (and the toilets really need better ventilation). I have no hesitation recommending them, they’re a very good trans-Pacific option. They also code share with Qantas, so you can book them with a QF flight number and get full points and status credits.
Flying from the right seat with your left hand on the control column and zero hands on the thrust levers is an interesting technique 😂. Enjoyed the video 👊🏼
YOU! EVACUATE! As she throws him off the plane - 😄 She got the job done. Excellent video. Enjoyed watching the training. Amazing simulator. I've never seen one up close like that. Looks like a great training program. It was interesting to see how they managed take-off and landing at SF, since I'm in that region. I'm only an "armchair taildragger pilot", not at all current, but have been recently renewing my interest by watching accident reviews on TH-cam by some good pilots. One TH-cam channel is "Blancolirio". He's very good. Another good one is "Flywire." Might be helpful for your students to learn. Reviewing accidents may sound a little strange, but these guys are sharing for the sake of learning, not macabre. They're not NTSB but along the same lines in terms of how the investigations are conducted, what they focus on. They share so that pilots can learn about each other's experiences and from each others' mistakes. I've learned a lot myself from watching them. Wishing all of you much luck and success. Stay safe -
Hey Stefan just wanted to let you know your legit the person that got me into aviation. Doing my first fixed wing demo this weekend, god I hope it goes well lol.
Thanks for the videos. Aviation Industry is important worldwide. Fiji Islands have many great commercial airline pilots both local and international for decades. Like other pilots worldwide and flight attendants hard work it is not easy because you have passengers lives in your hands every time you fly. Unlike fighter jets pilots it is just bombings galore
HI, Stefan, I am brand new to the aviation video and stumbled upon yours thanks to TH-cam. I would absolutely enjoy understanding the radio communications during your flight. e.g. how the radio communication works for the long haul (sounds like you are switching between different communication points), the types of contacts you have, and the interpretation of some conversations. I really enjoy your content. Thank you, and look forward to learning more about the world of aviation through your content.
Brilliant Stef such a good video and how nice are the Fiji crew! Question - In your option what % reality is MSFS 2020 now compared to the $17million 737 sim?
Yeah absolutely. The service component is just a small part of their responsibility. It was great to see how intensive and realistic the emergency simulations were.
This has to be the smartest marketing move by any airline. well done to Fiji Airlines & to you too Stefan. 👏👏👍

Awesome video
Great Fiji airways series. I just binge watched all 3 - so you must be doing something right!
Thank you so much for posting up our video😁...
Sam your great ❤️

I have flown Fiji airways quite a few time now. As a matter of fact in Fiji now. Always a great experience
Great Video as usual Stef, and great work to everyone at Fiji Airways who are so caring and hospitable
Thank you
It amazes what puts a smile on my face, I was grinning the whole way through and didn't even notice! Thanks
That demonstration of emergency procedures was amazing!
Another great video!! My wife flew back home to Aus on Fiji air in April and was extremely impressed with them.
This is the first behind the scenes video I've ever seen for Fiji Airways... Thanks for sharing
Thanks Stef & Fiji Airways
Great behind the scenes training video, Stef. I don't think I've ever seen so much behind the scenes flight training in one video, yet. Think you're the first! Thanks to Fiji Airways, too!
Good on Fiji Airways for doing this

Must have been the best time.. Fiji PPL are just the best. We could learn from them, FIJI TIME.
Amazing video , I have never actually seen one of these video’s great PR move by Fiji Air , & great move to get Stefan in to see it & share
Wow so cool to see them train the future flight attendance and it's amazing the sims as well 👍😀
Great video, Stef. I love the enthusiasm shown by the students…. And you
What a sick experience! Looking forward to having you onboard one of my flights soon!
graduated now? looks pretty intensive the training you guys were doing there
Thanks for the support Daniel, if you ever see me onboard say hello.
Thank you for sharing this video, solid landing in that 737 simulator.
The staff was ever so friendly and warm welcomed towards you, well done 👍
What a great video. Well done Fiji Airways
Fantastic video. Makes me want to try them out!
Enjoyed this one, in Fiji! 🛫🛬
Great video indeed. Thank you for your enlightenment on the superb work done by the Fiji Airways.
Flying from the right seat with your left hand on the control column and zero hands on the thrust levers is an interesting technique 😂. Enjoyed the video 👊🏼
What happens when you put a Cirrus pilot in a 737 :)
@@StefanDrury Your technique is *Cirrus*ly flawed 😂
Brilliant video Stefan! 👍
That looks like an awesome day. Thanks for showing :)
Loved this Ep Stef! Thanks.
Great video and a wonderful airline! Nice landing in the 737👏
Thanks Bryan, yeah it was a fun day.
They are full of energy! I'll fly Fiji Airways!
Great to see behind the scenes at the training department, hopefully they let you into the Airport west Qf facility back home in the future!
I can't think of any other country on earth that would've let you do that.

That’s really good to hear, thanks. Welcome to the aviation family and enjoy your flying.

G,day Stefan from Sydney.
Nice simulator time!
You get some good assignments.
🌏🇦🇺
Great video watching from Toronto Canada.
Bula and welcome to Fiji Stefan
Bula, and thanks Archie.
Stefan landing the simulator so good the fire alarm goes off
I'm convinced it was the "perfect landing" siren.
You've no doubt heard of the expression "he's on fire today". Well, this just proves it. 😉
Wow just wow. Vinaka FJ Airways
Absolutely fantastic video Stef! Entertaining and educational.
Amazing video as usual, Class D simulator must have been a great experience, love your videos Stef.
Brilliant, what an experience.
That looks like an awesome experience.
I had a great day with the team there. Amazing group of people, no wonder the service is so friendly onboard.
Love this, great video Stef. Very interesting and a cool insight!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Mark.
5:19 dancing is part of the evacuation? ;-)
HAHAHAH THAT WAS ME 😭😭😭 and no it’s not part of the evac

Loved it, well done! You've got a great style. Quirky and unpolished hence it looks and feels honest. Keep that up.
Brilliant Stefan!

Was awesome,
3:24 bro in the turned into the rock
Makes me want to fly Fiji. Mission accomplished. 😉
what an experience😊👏
I might change my entire schedule to fly with Samantha.
She, like the other students I met, will be an asset to the airline.
Love this
Bula people are so lovely
wel done..
cool video, thanks!
Great Video as always, Stef!!!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome video as per Stef, i was wondering, after experiencing the SIM, are you thinking about a career change, Captain Stef has a ring to it??
Brilliant Stef such a good video and how nice are the Fiji crew! Question - In your option what % reality is MSFS 2020 now compared to the $17million 737 sim?
Will Stephan get his 737 or A330 endorsement?....
08:16 motion is off 👀
nice video stef
Man I love the 737 max
If you ever need a pilot for one shoot me a message.
@@StefanDrury Good idea btw your videos are great.
funny how the simulators still use FSX rather than msfs2020 for the graphics
that's definitely another side of a flight attendants you don't see often having to be very assertive but I'd be glad in a accident
Yeah absolutely. The service component is just a small part of their responsibility. It was great to see how intensive and realistic the emergency simulations were.
The horror training weeks hahahahahahahaha
All the planes belong too Australia
I died because I couldn't get my seat belt off and couldn't understand a word my flight cabin crew said.. 😔
Air force fighter jets more smoother and faster hahahahahahahaha
Love you vids
Thanks for watching.
