Loved the flower garden tour, very impressive with the raised beds and you have a beautiful property with huge mature Eucalypts, thank you and looking forward to Spring.
Thank you. The Eucalyptus are the inland Scribbly Gum, and I love them. I am glad you enjoyed the tour.
Can’t wait for your video on the native plants and eucalyptus you’ve chosen to plant. Choosing natives can be overwhelming there’s so many to choose from. I love proteas especially. Would also love to know where you are buying them from. Just had a look at Protea World and jumped with glee when I saw how reasonably priced they are compared to nurseries. We’ve just moved onto our land and have an open canvas to work with. I’d prefer a native cut flower garden as we don’t have much water either and the soil is shocking. Thank you for sharing!
Protea World in SA is definitely the place to start. They don’t have a huge range, but enough to get started. I find people (customers) cannot get enough of natives and South African natives. I just have to be careful with the frost, it can damage some varieties. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing 🌸🌷
Thanks for an amazing product. Can’t wait to show everyone in spring your beautiful irises. Definitely buying more next year 😍
Aww thank you. I didn’t realise you had a TH-cam channel. I look forward to following your journey. What you are doing looks great 😊xx
Beautiful area with those huge open trees and mountains all around. Your beds look really nice and organized. Those poles look like they make it so easy to throw netting or covering over!
I love geums! So cool they spread so much. Such a variety of plants you've been growing.
Looking forward to the next vid on the native flowers you're growing.
I love growing proteas, we have several different types.
Thank you. The posts are from an old vineyard and have been fantastic for corralling the plants and netting.
I love them as well. I can’t believe how much they have grown in just 1 year.
I love natives and South African natives as they are so suitable for our growing conditions. I just have to be careful of frost, some varieties can suffer from a little frost damage.
I enjoyed this. Always nice to discover an Aussie gardening TH-camr 😊 I have some feedback, if that’s okay? Would be great if you slowed the camera movement as much as possible and add more still shots too. I’m one of those viewers who gets a little motion sickness with quick panning 😆 everything else was great! Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely slow the camera motion. Thanks for letting me know!
