Just recently pulled the trigger on my warhammer journey (I'm still clipping, cleaning, and gluing my intercessor kill team) and have ben devouring vids on tips for painting, so anything to set myself up for success would absolutely be welcome! 😆
all the best! my advice would be not to buy too much more than you can assemble/paint but it's always difficult.

I've been wanting an airbrush for ages but just never had the money to spare. The painting styles I love kinda require one so I'm hoping i can get my hands on one some day :)
There are some pretty cheap entry level ones. The compressor is usually the pricey thing.
After my 10 year break from Warhammer 40k I am now back and more motivated than ever. And what would be better to work off your big pile of shame, than an air brush. I thought already for some time, if I should get one.

Have you had a go at speedpaint/contrast. They can sometimes make basecoating not as troublesome.

I don't have many people to play with so I have been playing poorhammer's horde mode solo and I really want to paint up tyranid models quick so I they look great to play against on the board
Yeah any horde army takes a while to paint by brush.

On black friday i bought all the accessories for an airbrush, except for the airbrush and the compressor.. need to build up my wallet before I can get those xD

I really, really, really would love an airbrush. Do so many different hobbies and use regular brushes and rattle cans. Some times it's a terrible process.
Yeah, sometimes I like rattle cans, other times I hate them.
