They should name those parachute flares "Gideon's Torches". Illuminate the battle field and smash those pots and the enemy turns on itself. God's Victory for sure ! You are an instructor for new DCS folks. Great job, LongShot !
I really just became educated with the amount of light a burning target gives off. Night vision is something else. The entire sky lit up when the triple A fire opened up and the missiles were launched. Clusters would have been a very cool first strike from above that you dive bomb in.... Would have lit up the entire area. And with those targets burning, a great source of light. Very informative

Hey man, great video, but wanted to commend the valley run video with the F-18 the other day. Was busy then, so just hit the like and watched later. IT WAS BADASS! Not sure if you got a graphics upgrade or what but man that vid was viewing candy brotha! Good luck reaching 100k, I imagine it won’t be too much longer.

Does the A-10 have an autopilot? The idea of an autopilot is to reduce workload. You set the altitude, so you can focus on targeting. In aviation many many crashes have occurred when pilots flew perfectly functioning aircraft into the ground. There was one where the aircrew were mucking around with a blown cockpit landing gear indicator bulb killing 101 people. Don't get target fixated at the expense of flying the plane.
It’s got 3 modes, 1)Alt hold, so you can hold an orbit or bank angle, 2) Alt/Hdg hold, which is just what it sounds like, and 3) Path, which as far as I know will hold you on the path of your TVV (the little circle in your HUD with 2 horizontal lines and 1 vertical that is your current vector). If someone knows different, please let me know!
Great, but the laser guided rockets can do more than you think. Their range is up to 5 miles (I always shoot at 5 and they always hit) and you don‘t have to perfectly point the nose. If the target is in your HUD it‘s fine. At least that‘s my experience with it. You can try that if you want
In my experience if you can get high and fast the limiting factor is really the seeker's battery life more than anything. I've had some long shots have their battery die and wind up overshooting the target before... I believe around 7 miles is my record? It's been a while so I might be misremembering.
Years ago before 911, I had a simulator called Janes usaf. Grafics were great! I flew the A 10, Maverick missles were fire and forget! I took out many collums of vehichles, and also boming missions, strafing missions as well. You should not be missing anything if you are firing mavericks!!
Do not get me wrong. I deeply respect your fighter aircraft skills! You are a legit fighter pilot! That being said, you don't know very much about attack aircraft. The A 10 for sure.
Did you emit laser manually when you shot the laser guided rockets? It seems you didn't. It's nice if we don't need to emit laser manually because I often forget to turn it off.
Did you have an issue with the mode switch on the X56? I can’t set them in DCS and that was largely why I went with the X56 so I could have A/G, A/A, & NAV modes.
How realistic is the game compared to real jets? The reason why I ask it seems like you have to literally know everything about these Jets to perform. Like in real life.
That's the difference from real life. You DONT need to know every thing in order to fly it. No one cares if you crash, It will not coast any money, you can start with the very basics and fly, move on from there. I started with the A10 knowing how switch to the gun and shoot, the rest I learned on the fly, Literally

I was hoping you will fly with russian airplane's, like GS fly with USA airplane's, but you won't be biased like him. Please.

These are fun videos to watch. I would also enjoy more of the Two Morons series with GS.

LongShot one question if i want to play with the su-30 module can i play that module online if i dont where i can play with it?
In the dev's Discord server (Code name Flanker) there is a list of public servers with the SU30.

Are you using an NVG mod or something? How are the gauges and mpd controls so clear?
It is an NVG mod (Tacca's NVG mod) but all it does is make it full screen.
I did adjust the brightness and contrast of the displays
