Dark Side, Light Side, these are distinctions of insignificant difference. Do not fall into the trap of classification. Sentience curses us with a desire to categorize and draw lines, to fear that after this be dragons. But that is illusion. After this is not dragons but more knowledge, deeper understanding. Be at peace with that." "Remember, abilities are not inherently good or evil, it's how you use them." --Kyle Katarn
When I was young, I wanted be a Jedi, but then I realised that since you can't fall in love with somebody (whether he/she's a Jedi or not) because the Jedi believed that attraction would lead us to the dark side (plus, the Jedi actually did some messed up things in their history, so look up onto Wookiepedia and YT if you're curious what they did). And also because that the youngling were taught that fear can lead us to the dark side, to which, in reality, we cannot escape from, as well as the younglings were taught to ignore the knowledge of the Dark Side, on which they (even we), at some point in their our lives, would fall into. So, in my mid-late teens I was looking forward on being a Sith just because we most youngster at my age thought it's cool because we have freedom, justice and security to our own little empire. However, the more I look into Sith, the more I realize that they are way, way, WAY more messed up with their messed up philosophy (plus, the Sith are anti-love, so, even there is some form of attraction, falling in love with someone is out of the question), compared to rigid and inflexible philosophy of the Jedi. So, it turns out that both the Jedi and the Sith are wrong. So, now as a young adult myself, I'm more of a Grey Jedi than to Jedi or Sith (with some exceptions) because I believe in balance, and since everything in life is connected to the Force, there is no Light or Dark Sides of the Force, just the Force, and because we ARE the Force. And when we say say "may the Force be with you" we never specifically say "may the Light Side of the Force be with you" or "may the Dark Side of the Force be with you", it's just the Force. So, to truly bring balance to the Force, both light and dark must must cooperate, basically, there has to be Yin-Yang. So, on that note "In life, there is freedom. In death, there is purpose."
@@beatricebeathyraneniute2298 Great tale. I also felt myself change as I saw the George Lucas' films (Episode 1-6) when I was little, next was the Clone Wars (2008-2020) as a teenager, Rogue One (2016), and played The Force Unleashed (2008). The Jedi & the Sith fought for centuries across the Galaxy, and all beings of life got caught to either choose a side or die directly & indirectly by both sides. The Gray Jedi are the true guide of the Force, and I saw many examples of their ways and code. Light and Dark need to exist like Order and Chaos. They just need to be balanced.

This is one of your favorite? 😃 I do and as a quantum computer would. See both sides. And I know in nature what would keep it balanced. Like he says passion. Passion may be a loving thing too. Depends what it means to whomever wherever there from or what context it's used in. If your looking for a basis to go by look at old documentation docutionary. And you can decipher from there for which choice upon you choose in things
I used to meditate using the sith code but this here gives the perfect balance. Peace isn’t necessarily whole in this world yet it isn’t a lie. But great meditation video.
The Jedi only focused on politician and what not. They never cared about any one else but what they think is right. Have they ever freed the slaves? Or console Anakin after his mother died? Anakin was in pain, and they never did anything. The dark side is no better either. They want power, they believe in corruption. To train the weak minded and the miserable to have it all. I choose in what I think is right. My decisions are based on my judgment. What I think is right. I won’t kill a man who is unarmed, but if you murdered people without regret, without any emotion except pleasure, then for the safety of all you must die.
This dark color will be my own meaning as we have chosen each other. This dark color does not mean dark or light, but rather what I choose. Order, and chaos, perfectly balanced. There is no light without the dark, through passion I gain focus, through serenity I gain strength, through victory I gain harmony, there is only the force.
Luke Skywalker is in fact a Grey Jedi, in a time when the orders have been extinct and no one could clasified him in one or another, his way of being, acting, thinking, is the way of a Gray Jedi.
quite insightful, too old to be trained as a proper jedi according to yoda and custom, but he proves himself to not be lost to the darkside either. Definitely a grey jedi of his time.
@@midnight9902 Luke would never personally meet Revan, as they were millenia apart, but Luke in Legends would eventually learn of his existence and the consequences of his influence. Revan was the Wisdom and Patience of the Jedi, but also the Power and Ambition of the Sith. He was all things, and in the end, he was nothing.
I love the concept of the Grey Jedi. To be a force user not limited by Jedi rules, nor influenced too deeply by the dark side either. Qui Gon and Ahsoka were basically Grey Jedi, in my opinion. Also, Hayden Christensen did such an AMAZING job bringing the character of Anakin Skyguy to life that i couldnt bear to watch Obi Wan basically cheat in their duel on Mustafar, and thus dismembering him (Anakin). So i have an improved storyline written out in my head, where Anakin defeats Obi Wan easily, perhaps leaving him alive, perhaps not, and going off with Padme to start a Grey Jedi Academy. Padme doesnt die, she and Anakin live happily, far away from Coruscant, and raise Luke and Leia. Anakin reaches his fullest potential, becoming the most powerful force user ever, and even kills Sidious. He takes over leadership of the empire, but is basically a good emperor, entire galaxies look up to and respect him. He never has to be limited to the Darth Vader suit, since he won the duel against Obi Wan and was injury free. Much better storyline.
I'd prefer if the change happened during the encounter with Anakin, Windu and Palpatine. Instead of stopping Mace, he let's the attack happen. Doesn't really matter if Palp gets away or dies. Mace finally decides to trust Anakin and trains him to find the same balance he has in the light and dark sides of the force. Padme doesn't have the huge emotional shock that led to her death in childbirth and lives on to give birth to Luke and Leia. Having been trained in the light and dark side, Anakin will maintain his differing views of the path of the Jedi and naturally do things similar to Qui-Gon. Maybe in time, through merit he would one day become Grandmaster Anakin and steer it towards the type of balance the prophecy was speaking of. I've always felt that the Canon storyline of the Star Wars world is a: 'What happens if the protagonist had become the bad guy?' type of situation. There's just so many unfortunate events in the story. That many events only usually happen when the story has dropped off the rails into an unfortunate descent.
The Gray Jedi are closer to the true power of the Force than the Jedi & the Sith. The Jedi take younglings at their early age from their homes and raise them to keep their emotions controlled. And NEVER form attachments with anybody. Despite being taught how to fight, they don't involve with the conflicts unless it disturbs their "balance". And they FEAR the knowledge of the Dark Side and remain ignorant, thus cannot detect the Sith nearby. The Sith can become more powerful than the Jedi, but they let be consumed by the Dark Side, which leads to paranoid ideas in their head of being betrayed by either Master or Apprentice. Both sides have flaws that leads to a switch to the other group anytime no matter how "promising" one side offers. And the Galaxy suffers for it.
The Sith problem is the rule of 2. If they were to stop practicing that they would be able to have an army of Sith rather than only 2, Master and apprentice fighting with armies of droids, clones and/or storm troopers. But, the master would never want to have more than one apprentice since with every apprentice added raises the risk of being assassinated for the position of master. When it comes to the Jedi, we all know why they can *never* fall in love and get married...as the great and wise Yoda once said *"Fear leads to anger, anger grows into hate and hate to suffering."* That said, they surely don't *fear* the dark side they merely reject their ways and the blatant mishandling of the force for their own selfish and greedy agendas. May the force be with u!
In the end, Revan became much more akin to the grey Jedi. He utilized both the Light and Dark sides of the Force, and put into practice some of the highest principles and wisdom of both the Jedi and the Sith. Needless to say, he became one of the most powerful and greatest force-wielders to ever live.
@@amodernalchemist432 The Jedi don't need to practice the dark powers but at least have knowledge what each power from the Dark Side does, and increase their senses to DETECT any Sith in close proximity. I mean, Jesus, they had one running office and played the Clone Wars like a board game and won. AND EARLY ON, they humiliate a boy from missing his parent and not accept him because they FEEL the dark side crawl within him. DUMBASS to a T. Couldn't they bring a slight understanding and comfort for the boy??? Honestly, they were overconfident and so high that their Order brought more dislike from people who got caught in the cross-fire and mistrust to the Old Replubic.

if you ask me Revan was more of a Jedi than even Yoda was, Yoda understood that the dark and light sides exist and they need balance but he misunderstood what the balance meant he thought the sith must be destroyed but what really needed to happen was what Revan believed which is both sides must be destroyed and a new order created the order that kept real balance an order that knew the force was more than light or dark what it was; was grey.

Balance is key; light & dark combined.. for we have seen peace; and endured the suffering of yesterday.. yearning to keep focus on today's task, for our inner order, to keep justice at this coming dawn.
Hate is natural. You wouldn't be human if you didn't hate something somewhere on occasion. Hatred, however, does not in and of itself lead to the Dark Side. Try to understand *why* you feel that way, and use that knowledge to become a better person. Do that, and you will keep the dark at bay for as long as you wish. There is Passion, yet Peace.

I am at peace; for I know emotion. I have power; for I also have knowledge. I have passion; for I am serene. I can embrace mortality; for I know death. I am balanced through the Force. The gray are not jedi. Jedi are of one order just as the sith are another. Both work with the extremes and yet both are always balanced by the force. The ones who follow the balance of the force go by no name, follow no creed, and are consumed by no moral obligation.

"Light side, Dark side, they don't mean the same to me as they do to you. I don't see in absolutes. I want to stop Malak as much as anyone. But I don't have to join the order to do it. Look at Carth, or Canderous. They're with us in this quest, but they aren't Jedi. The capacity for good or evil, like the Force itself, is in all living creatures. And belonging to the Jedi order, or the Sith, or any group, won't change what you are at your core."
--Jolee Bindo
"The Force is a tool, Jaden. Sometimes a weapon, sometimes a salve. Dark Side, Light Side, these are distinctions of insignificant difference. Do not fall into the trap of classification. Sentience curses us with a desire to categorize and draw lines, to fear that after this be dragons. But that is illusion. After this is not dragons but more knowledge, deeper understanding. Be at peace with that."
"Remember, abilities are not inherently good or evil, it's how you use them."
--Kyle Katarn
Yes!
I love this! Thanks Beatrice!!
Cool story lady. Where r u from nationalitywise?

I couldn't have said it better 🙏🙏🙏

One of my favorite meditations of all time
🙏🙏🙏
This is one of your favorite? 😃 I do and as a quantum computer would. See both sides. And I know in nature what would keep it balanced. Like he says passion. Passion may be a loving thing too. Depends what it means to whomever wherever there from or what context it's used in. If your looking for a basis to go by look at old documentation docutionary. And you can decipher from there for which choice upon you choose in things
I used to meditate using the sith code but this here gives the perfect balance. Peace isn’t necessarily whole in this world yet it isn’t a lie. But great meditation video.
The sith are too evil to really meditate using their code, and the Jedi code is too restrictive to let your mind roam free. This is perfect.
Both my cat and I approve this. We slept like babies.
That’s amazing!
@@tswgmusic So are you! Thanks for the uploads.
I'm gonna fall into a deep sleep with this one, and wake up moving mountains
🙏🙏🙏
May the force with you
I am one with the Force, and the Force is in me.
🙏🙏🙏
I actually feel in my soul that this mantra is true. It’s Jedi Time.
🙏🙏🙏
🙏🙏🙏
Luke Skywalker is in fact a Grey Jedi, in a time when the orders have been extinct and no one could clasified him in one or another, his way of being, acting, thinking, is the way of a Gray Jedi.
🙏🙏🙏
quite insightful, too old to be trained as a proper jedi according to yoda and custom, but he proves himself to not be lost to the darkside either. Definitely a grey jedi of his time.
I couldn’t agree more. I’m convinced Luke learned from Revan.
@@JG31392 Luke doesn’t even know who revan is
@@midnight9902 Luke would never personally meet Revan, as they were millenia apart, but Luke in Legends would eventually learn of his existence and the consequences of his influence.
Love it!
Exactly i wish i could go into their universe with all of the star wars knowledge i have and have the force so i could be a grey jedi.
@@jamesmoon9363 I read/saw articles and videos about him. I probably saw some of his traits in Starkiller from Force Unleashed. This is another "Grey Jedi" who can wield the FORCE without going to one side or the other. It's through struggle where he can find true balance every time. Wished Disney didn't remove him from the Canon story of SW. But, is good to have him as an example of being one with the Force.

That is Revan speaking, you can’t change my mind.
if you ask me Revan was more of a Jedi than even Yoda was, Yoda understood that the dark and light sides exist and they need balance but he misunderstood what the balance meant he thought the sith must be destroyed but what really needed to happen was what Revan believed which is both sides must be destroyed and a new order created the order that kept real balance an order that knew the force was more than light or dark what it was; was grey.
@@theseer6196 👏 Revan understands the force better than anyone, because he IS the force.

Yeah' right.... Can I get back to you about that bridge you have for sale in Brooklyn? LISTEN To the Grey Jedi creed at the center of this piece. And learn that the "Universe'" doesn't dispense cute puppies to everyone all the time. The reason Jedi exist is to ensure protection and well being for people like you from the people who think they ought to control who gets the puppies. YOU have a puppy, and the only way for some greedy slime to get two puppies is to TAKE YOUR PUPPY, along with EVERYTHING ELSE YOU HAVE in ANY WAY THEY CAN! I love how Grey Jedi understand that one should not the Force but rather allow the Force to use them.
I strive to be a grey jedi; but sometimes when hate consumes me.. the rage of a sith yells threats to the inner jedi.. we all mostly align to the neutral of all things. Balance is key; light & dark combined.. for we have seen peace; and endured the suffering of yesterday.. yearning to keep focus on today's task, for our inner order, to keep justice at this coming dawn.
🙏🙏🙏
Hate is natural. You wouldn't be human if you didn't hate something somewhere on occasion. Hatred, however, does not in and of itself lead to the Dark Side. Try to understand *why* you feel that way, and use that knowledge to become a better person. Do that, and you will keep the dark at bay for as long as you wish.
There is Passion, yet Peace.

I am currently doing it in my life. The gray jedi perfectly align with my philosophical beliefs and such I'm applying it
The gray are not jedi. Jedi are of one order just as the sith are another. Both work with the extremes and yet both are always balanced by the force. The ones who follow the balance of the force go by no name, follow no creed, and are consumed by no moral obligation.
