Thank you for this. In my life, I've always believed in the dark side. Letting my anger and aggression get the better of me. But is only giving me heartache, enemies, it has left me alone. I do not follow that path anymore.
I feel that many principles of "the force" make a lot more sense then a lot of other religions For one: death In christianity people who die go to heaven, which is hard for me to personally put faith behind In the Force, people become one with the life force the connects everything, and not retaining their personal traits, which seems a lot more realistic
Yeah. This was something that spoke to me as well. Not too dissimilar to the Life Stream in Final Fantasy VII. This concept of energy flowing and changing and returning is a bit more tangible to me. To paraphrase Ruth Baulding - 'I am a child of the Force and this is my homecoming.'

Still, becoming one with the Force in SW is not completely becoming spiritual particles, that's because some very Force-sensitive users can come back from ''death'' in the form of ''Force Ghosts''. So that could be a common trait with christanism, because although christanism doesn't say that your beloved ones are going to return in the form of ''spectres'', they are constantly watching you from a different spatial zone, or something like that.
Guess what man. Feeling as if the force is real and making your choices based on what side you've chosen is the first step to becoming a jedi. The force, god, Allah, buddha, sky dad, call it what you want. It's all the same understanding
Opie! Love this meditation. Especially the way your voice was mixed in there nicely. Most med bids the voice is way up front and yours was IN the meditation. Thus it works better! Bravo
Being going to sleep with this playing every night for a good few years now. I've just found that if you put it to .75 speed, it's even more calming and relaxing

I just finished this meditation and I have to say that this was awesome. I'm definitely going to implement this into my daily meditation. I tried looking up to see if there was a Sith version or a Grey Jedi version, but you're the only person I've found whose made a Jedi version like this. Could you perhaps do a Sith and a Grey Jedi version?

The usage of both codes, even the Grey Jedi's in a mediation format such this one, has made me see that there is a time and a place to be a Jedi, a Sith and a Grey Jedi. If that makes sense.
Well. I have a whole rant on Jedi, balance, and duality. How Jedi are more fluid it often know. But I definitely get your meaning. And have no problems putting out some that may bring balance and peace of mind to individuals out there. Empowerment and Self-Acceptance should always be encouraged. :)

Not exactly. Using the first Jedi Code written in 1986 for the Star Wars Roleplaying Guide (page 69). That was only a four line code. The chaos/harmony line wasn't added until 1997 and wasn't made popular in the original format until 2002 (KotOR). And I consciously chose to acknowledge that evolution in this meditation.
*sigh* There is a clear pattern that alternates the 1986 Four Line Version and the 2002 Five Line Version. While maintaining both the Yet Version (1997) and the Creed (1999). If you were actually paying attention instead of just trying to catch a mistake you would have noticed that. As a practitioner of Jediism, this meditation is extremely helpful in re centering myself and coming back to the present

No. Grey don't have a canon code. And Sith - well, can't support it. :P I can definitely see about creating an extended version.
