    My husband is currently out of the country and I've just bought this as I can't use his John Deere mower, it's far too heavy!!! I came in search of a video that shows assembly, use and gives an honest review. I found all of that here and more, great video and great mower!

    Excellent review, thank you! I have a large Honda Petrol mower at the moment which is becoming more and more difficult to start due to the Ethanol in the unleaded petrol these days plus I am getting older and wanting a lighter mower to operate. You have helped me make a decision on the Murray 44cm mower and I look forward to taking delivery of it and doing the first cut of the season. I'll probably have to do it in 2 halves due to the size of lawn and length of the grass. Thanks!!

    Very good review, helpful on assembly, mowed my 500sqm lawn very well on a single charge

    Great review...very detailed....great camera work and clear picture. Nice mower (& Garden!). Re the lawnmower I notice that about 75% of this lawnmower seems to be identical to a similar spec Spear & Jackson model, the S3644X2CR, the main difference being the batteries & charger. Some "Yardforce" mowers seem to be virtually identical to Spear & Jackson ones too, especially older models. From a bit of research it seems they all are manufactured by a huge Chinese company called Sumec Group.

    Great review. Looking to buy a new mower. This is good way to see the mower in use.

    It looks a decent mower but the reviews on Amazon show customer services may be lacking thanks for a lovely review especially the bit about batteries at the end everybody on reviews has always questions the length of the charge on all mowers cordless

    Had mine since 2020, been pretty good on my large lawns as it cuts nicely and is very light to manoeuvre, using 4 x 5ah batteries. However it hates slightly damp grass and be aware that the mower basket drops off the short plastic lugs constantly - has helped to push the basket metal frame apart slightly, but a major definite design flaw. Just this week (Apr 2024) one battery has died - refuses to charge. Amazon now asking £85 for one 5ah replacement battery is crazy. Overall seems time for a new machine. I'll not buy another Murray / Sprint with the basket issue and the costly 4 new batteries I'll need.

      Thanks for your feedback. Yes this common with most brands, replacement batteries can account for the majority of the mowers' cost. One exception is Einhell batteries, these are reasonably priced i.e. 2 x 4.0Ah batteries £67 (£33.50 each)

    Good review. Do you have a review of the Murray Strimmer?

      Hi. I do have the strimmer but have not done a video review as yet. I will try to do it in the next couple of weeks. Thanks.

    Thanks for the wonderful reviews of lawn movers. I am confused with so many options in the market. I have a garden of 525sqms and looking for two lawnmovers options - one in corded and one in cordless to go for. Can you please advise as intention is to have a durable product which performs extremely well and easy ? Sometimes, I think more warranty gets added in initial price by companies but as any other consumer, that will be a added bonus :)

    I have the Sprint model of this and the quality control seems to have gone downhill. The collector basket doesn't fit on snugly leaving quite a large gap between the body and the basket for the grass to fall through. One of the wheels looks like it's not fitted correctly and is loose / wobbly. The blade is not perfectly parallel to the body resulting in a slightly deeper cut on one side than the other, it is noticeable on a mowed lawn especially at the lowest setting. I have sent it back for a replacement, hoping they aren't all like this!

    Really informative video, this looks perfect for my use, do you know if it's the same as the Briggs and Stratton branded mower? I think it's the sprint. Seems a little cheaper too at the moment. Thank you.

      @EasyLawnMowing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you are correct the Sprint is pretty much identical, but cheaper. They are both on special offer on Amazon from time to time. I have seen the 44cm Murray for £290 on Amazon, so watch out for special offers.

      I believe so in the UK although you do see them on eBay as well. I would stick to Amazon due to their return’s policy and customer support. Thanks.

    I just bought this lawn mower after seeing this review and the Amazon reviews, and I am so disappointed with this machine expensive machine, after using it once, the basket falls off every few steps, which makes it almost impossible to cut the lawn! And I have to press the starter button several times to get it started even thought he battery is still fully charged! I think there is a design fault as the plastic brackets that hold the 2 metal pins for the basket are just too short! Did you not have the same issue? I have seen other people on Amazon also having this issue?

    • @EasyLawnMowing
      @EasyLawnMowing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nancy, sorry to hear you are having problems, I didn't experience this issue with the grass collection box. What I will do is pull the mower out of my shed and have another look to see if I can offer some advice. With regard to the starting try to tilt the mower backwards slightly, every time you are going to start the mower. If the starting issue persists I would contract Murray support as this definitely sounds like a fault. Thanks Mark

      Same problem here with the grass catcher. Every few seconds it comes off. It's a non workable situation. It mowes great but to stop literally every 5 seconds is just impossible

      What’s the main difference between the Sprint and the Murray then? Specs look identical but the prices are quite different!
