Thank you for featuring this gem in Waipahu, I live here in Waipahu and never knew of this place till i recently seen your vlog. Woke early to go today, I just had to try the Opihi Poke, but it was not available today according to Fay, suggest that I call in to check if it's available. Prices of Lau Lau plates are unbelievable. Found out they been at this location for 10yrs now, never knew until your vlog, which I did mention to her how I heard about Azama's, from your vlog. Fay was happy and I'm sure more viewers will be checking them up. Thanks again! Hope we can meet one day so I can drop off a gift for you. Got some Pulehu Octopus, Lomi Oio, some Dried Shrimp and Boiled Peanut.
Thank you Susan for trying it out and watching the video! I'm glad you liked your food. Too bad they didn't have the opihi today but surely they should have soon. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. I do appreciate it but I dont need a gift. Your gift is your kind comments and just taking the time out of your day to watch my videos. 🙏
Like the blue shirt. Thanks for sharing those hidden spots around Oahu, and the trip to the Big Island. I hadn't subscribed as I don't eat meat or friend food ... and in Hawaii that is about it! Do eat fish and am very supportive of those family owned places. Thanks for including plant based options, I am a huge sashimi eater! Am subscribing ... keep showing us those hidden gems.
Thank you for watching and subscribing! I understand about not eating meats and fried foods and even though will feature something with meat I try to explain things on the menu for those who want a plant based option. Mahalo!
Love these hole in the walls. My niece who was born & raised in Texas has developed a taste for Poke. Thanks to your channel, I have a lot of options where I can take her when she visits. She was supposed to visit next month but because of this pandemic, she had to postpone her trip which I believe was the right move. She is vaccinated and has been maintaining social distancing but I feel better that she'll be coming later in the year or maybe early next year.
WOWOW, I was drooling this whole video 😋😂 everything looked amazing! and wow $6.99 for a laulau plate?! That's deals! Thanks for sharing this hidden gem in Waipahu, I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in the area
You hit da jackpot today! I love everything you got. Lomi O'io, Opihi, dried Aku, Laulau, oh my! Even da different Limu's got me remembering the tastes. Mahalo Misty!
Thanks for reviewing this place. Never knew about it and yes, it is such a deal for the Lau Lau plate. Price is such a deal and you get a drink! Unbelievable! Price has gone up to $7.99 but still can't beat the price.
Never tried opihi but want to, when we make it out there. Changed our minds about going there, maybe next year when C-19 isn't a threat. Stay safe & keep finding these cool hidden spots!
Love your vlogs. From Waipahu but didn't eat 3/4 of the foods you enjoy. I just live through you. Left back in '81 but I make it home for annual visits. So I just make a pig of myself while there. 😋🤪🌴
Great price on the laulau plate. Miss eating opihi, so expensive. Not a fan of lomi o'io, next time I come home, gotta go there, never knew this place existed. Thanks for the video!
I haven't been to see family since 2019. I am from the mountains of SoCal. It is such a small and careful community up here, but like Hawaii, we get so many tourists. I feel like I should not go to island communities yet. Miss my folks.
thats my soninlaw fav place i never been there but cheap laulau plate will check it out thanks for the video. i think they have a shop in palolo/kaimuki on 10th ave
You’re plate lunch is dreamy,I want to hijack your plate lunch.Love your style of eating and reviews.👍😉I would rather have dried aku over drama from a date or something any day🤣😄
Lol I get a paid a little by TH-cam and that's what helps keep me going to get food. I'm not rich but I'm blessed to have a good income to afford some foods. Have a great weekend!
Yes pricey for dried aku. Usually Don Quijote or Times get luau leaves for sale. If not I go to the small market across Farrington High School. She sell one big ass bag for cheap.
Thanks!
Oh Mahalo so much for your Super Thanks! ❤️🤙🙏
This video is full of snacks I’ve never heard of. Going to have to try some! Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome!

@@kcw8085 Thank you so much Kendall! It means a lot! I do it to showcase local businesses. Please support them. Mahalo!
Great price on the laulau plate. Miss eating opihi, so expensive. Not a fan of lomi o'io, next time I come home, gotta go there, never knew this place existed. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching! Yes tasty and reasonable plate lunch prices here. 😊
"Right after Highway Inn"... Yeah, give 'em some competition! ;-) Hard to find places that have lomi o'io.
Is it CASH ONLY? Like the Kaimuki store??
I believe I used a credit card. I never carry cash and don't remember going to any ATM before eating.
I haven't been to see family since 2019. I am from the mountains of SoCal. It is such a small and careful community up here, but like Hawaii, we get so many tourists. I feel like I should not go to island communities yet. Miss my folks.
Hope you can come back soon. That's thoughtful of you but the airport and Waikiki is a madhouse now!

You’re plate lunch is dreamy,I want to hijack your plate lunch.Love your style of eating and reviews.👍😉I would rather have dried aku over drama from a date or something any day🤣😄
🤣🤣🤣 Yes I like your thought process. I too would rather be alone with my dry aku breath.
Not fond of the Opihi, but the Oio is BOMB 😋 ! Great content as always Misty 😊. Stay safe back home 🙏🏼
Thanks Maxfield! Have a blessed weekend.
Does anyone know where their Lau Lau is made? In-house from scratch, or from Keoki's or HFP?
It's made in house and you can also purchase pre made refrigerated ones to take home.
Man, you get plenty money if you going do vids like this! LOL Thanks for sharing!
Lol I get a paid a little by TH-cam and that's what helps keep me going to get food. I'm not rich but I'm blessed to have a good income to afford some foods. Have a great weekend!
Didn’t know! But now I know...thank you for the Ono update! It’s Aloha Friday and I’m hungry for Hawaiian food. Where’s the POI? 🤷🏽♀️
As I said sold out by 10am. Gotta get there early. I thought I was early but nope! 😪

Awesome! You guys lucky.
I’m from the east and I’m not familiar with the the seafood and I’ m impressed with the products that are available in Hawaii
Thank you. We have a wide array of cuisines here and lots of restaurants to choose from. I hope you can visit one day!
Aloha Misty! I've always wanted to try opihi, but didn't know if you eat it raw or is it cooked. Mahalo for another great vlog, have a great weekend!
Have a great weekend Paula! Mostly it is eaten raw, but some people grill it in the shell. Both are great.
Thank you for sharing! I will definitely check this place out👍👍👍
