To get the NCIDQ certification you need to have 2-3 years of verified work experience so probably won't be the first thing you do but it does sound like a smart move.

I especially appreciate today's subject because people often tell me I have a "good eye" for design and I enjoy it tremendously, but it's not something I thought I could pursue at this point in my life given that I am no longer twenty-something and I lack formal training. However, your message has encouraged me to seriously study the matter to see what might be possible for me in this field at this stage in my life. So from one artsy Virgo to another, thanks for inspiring me to take the first few baby steps on a new journey. Very much appreciated!
