Botswana should encourage their citizens in the diaspora to go into agric and agric processing. Indians and white people come there and lord it over our people. The country policy makers should level the playing field and embrace all.

There is a lot of water along the Limpopo area...all that has to be done there is to set up farms along the river as has the south Africans...people in Botswana just don't show enough determination...and the government is doing very little to support local entrepreneurs...they only take you seriously when you are white or Indian....

the goverment does a lot believe me Batswana are so spoilt . The goverment provides , seed, fertilizers, tractors i can understand water is the biggest hurdle but being a motswana i realised its not all that think commercial only a few. Race here is not an issue in Botswana

I am a Motswana too...I am aware of the poor work ethic prevailing back home, but I still maintain my sentiments that the government is not doing enough in coming up constructive valid enough programs to improve the agricultural sector...Its a pity coz our country is full of unlimited opportunities..and its even more heart ranching to see foreigners come in to our country..milk it of all the resources and take the money back to their home countries...Economy e tlhabololwa ke beng ba lefatshe ...wabo o ikaketsa haore motho a tswa gosele oka go tlhabollela lefatshe...batswana ba diiwa ke boloi tshele le botshwakga ...go a ama tota

Do you mean they take seriously when you have a solid business plan, knowledge and funding? Yeah, that's when you can be successful.
