Atlantis Water Gardens is located at 3017 Route 10 in Denville (Morris County), NJ (New Jersey) with a full pond supply store and specializes in the design, maintenance and construction of backyard fish ponds, boulder waterfalls, fountainscapes, decorative water features, natural looking ponds, koi fish ponds and outdoor goldfish ponds for backyard landscapes
I don't know how you guys are ever going to top this one! My favorite part is the stairs, they transform the whole project to an interactive experience!

There is no level on this one, the level stopped many feet down on the scale.
Literally everything is just beautiful! Amazing waterfall, hardscape, incredible pond, and good plant choice! You know, I like my bamboo but it’s totally worth digging it out, for that water feature. And there’s a good amount of B roll too!👍🏼

Man this job is insane! In fact, for me, it is the most insane job of all the insaines job you made so far...It is literally the tent time I looked at it frame by frame, I learned a lot. thanks for not being shy on the techniques...I have lots of screenshots in file because I will try my own built soon...this will be an example to follow mix along others of you CAC friends ...the 8 foot hill has been completed last week, the roll of liner is in and I am awaiting my Aquascape stuff by the end of the week to start my built, all that job because of you and your crew you and your team were the first builder that I found on YT when I had the flash of doing something special in our backyard. Bravo!!

The garden needs taller plants and small trees to add some height and more depth. Everything is too low and it feels flat. It’s the best design of a waterfall that I’ve ever seen. It was worth every penny
Another great job Jaak and what i really am liking about your jobs is you spread out the stones out away from the edges so it is NOT a "manufactured" stream. Making it look natural is the ultimate key and having the stream and falls twist and turn (as is in nature). Great job and yes the patio stones look awesome. Those take lots of time I know i have tons of those and when done they look so "natural" especially when adding some moss etc in the cracks to soften the walkway. Kuddos guys

I noticed that you have 2 different liners, what are they please as I have a project at home which is why I'm watching your video to get ideas and see how it is done. looks great by the way.
One is underlayment, the other is 45 mil EPDM rubber liner.
Amazing work, really incredible result.
It just looks completely natural, it blends in completely with the landscape, the only thing that could improve it is a big pond at the very bottom, and the patio area right next to it, but like you say it looks perfect... all I can say is the house owner must be over the moon..

Great question Denis! We call it a negative edge because the water is falling off the backside of the pond and down the cascades into a lower reservoir.

Jaak, Drew, and the gang; by FAR, THE nicest sloped waterfall/pond you folks ever built!! Love the way everything blends well together; the boulder choice and colors, the steppers, the flagstone work, the plant material! My favorite waterfall; the bottom Y-shaped one. (17:22) I see Water Artisan of the Year Award 2020 here (Pond Trade Magazine)!! And to think of what it all looked like before! Congrats to you all, that was a Team effort!

Yes we did. There is a 1’ drop between overlaps to prevent that from happening
Atlantis Water Gardens Is it possible to show next time you do this please ?
He said that they would be filling in the gaps with ‘polymetric’ sand. He meant to say polymeric sand which is a product that is composed of polymers blended with sand that, when used to fill the gaps (small gaps only) and lightly misted down, sets up like a mortar. This is a great product on pavers but generally speaking, the gaps in stone for a patio are too big and the polymeric will just wash away. In the right situation it 8s a fantastic product.
You’re right, it is polymeric. Good catch! And this is a coarse grade polymeric that is made for larger joints, such as flagstone. Hasn’t washed out in the 10 years we’ve been using it 👍

We have built recreation ponds, that can be swam in. No swimming pools though.

Excellent work, love the negative edge. Would love more Tech detail- what’s the distance and height from bottom reservoir to bio falls? What kind of pumps and how many.? Are all the pumps at the bottom? What’s the measurements on that chamber at the bottom? Does bottom chamber just provide storage or does it filter also?
About 8’ from bottom to top. SLD 5-9000 pump
