- Professional eater Randy Santel vs The Khartoum Hotel's Massive Australian Burger Challenge, hosted by The Khartoum Hotel in Kitchener, New South Wales, Australia!! My beautiful girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos and I started our giant 2.5 month long 2023 Australia Tour back in early February 2023. We landed first into Sydney, NSW and opened up the trip by attempting 10 different man vs food restaurant eating challenges around the state of New South Wales. The small businesses were mainly around Sydney and Newcastle, NSW. For food challenge #8, we headed to The Khartoum Hotel in Kitchener, New South Wales, Australia, so I could attempt their mega-sized Khartoum Hotel Massive Australian Burger Challenge which had to all be finished within a very short 30 minute time limit. There are two giant 500g Australian beef hamburger & carrot burger patties, stacked and layered with cheese slices, lots of Aussie bacon, 4 fried eggs, a few sauces, and loads of healthy vegetables - lettuce, pickled beet root slices, tomatoes, onions, and more. It was all served on a giant bun and topped with 20 fried onion rings, surrounded with 500 grams of potato wedges and 500 grams of chips. I had just 30 minutes to finish everything, which they overestimate to weigh about 5kg or 11lbs, but really it's all about 3.5kg or 7.75lbs. I was trying to become just the second person to win my $70 AUD Aussie bacon cheeseburger meal free plus the jackpot which was up to $750 AUD at the time when I attempted the challenge, and my name & photo posted up on The Khartoum Hotel's Wall of Fame. By now, the jackpot should be up over $1,000 AUD but good luck, since 99.99% of all people in the world will fail this challenge due to the time limit being way too short. BIG thanks to everyone with The Khartoum Hotel in Kitchener for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all the wonderful people from around the Kitchener, NSW area who came up that Thursday evening to watch and meet us!! i did a burger challenge like that in newcastle years ago with no chips or onion rings and half the beef and that was tough for me to finish. people don't realise just the bun alone is a whole loaf of bread.

This was the first video I've seen from Randy where I knew he wasn't going to win from the beginning. 30 minutes is insane for that amount of food, especially since Randy is more of a methodical eater than a speed eater.

This was a huge effort, was such a great night being there in the crowd watching this. The video doesn't do this justice, the waitress walked past us on her way to the table with this on the board, was absolutely blown away by the shear size of it all. Huge respect for getting that far, as for Webby, well he's just superhuman to do what he did in under 12mins.

I weigh 285 pounds, at one point I weighed around 400 pounds. I could not fathom doing what you do, even at my heaviest I could barely take down a large pizza. What you do is so incredibly impressive. Good on you Randy, I hope you’re doing this safely.
