I love your cozy sweet space. We lived in a 1896 beautiful home for years and decided to rebuild my childhood home after my Mom passed. While we have a huge en suite master with 2 walk in closets I miss the charm an character of our old house. There just something so special about old homes that I love. If we ever downsize I think it will be a sweet, old 2 bedroom cottage! Your space is beautiful! ❤️

OMGoodness! At the 4 minute mark you mention to hang your curtains all the way to the top! I'm going to do that in my bedroom. I hung the curtains at the top of the window and I see now my mistake. Hi Amy! When I redid my back guest bedroom, I donated our old bedroom set for a wrought iron framed bed very similar to yours. I had a Pier One dresser from our dining area which I put back there when my hutch arrived (which was why this all had to be done a few days before
Christmas as we were having company and no place to put the dresser!) and I bought an armoire from Overstock that matched the dresser. It is amazing how different that room looks! It's just beautiful. I'd like to paint the room just to refresh it and maybe switch out the blinds/drapes. Little touches can make such a big impact in a small room and can make the room look so cozy. I've always liked your bedroom and I can't wait to see all your other Spring touches in the rest of your home....you always do a beautiful job!

MY SPRING CLEANING HACK-- Use a blow dryer to blow the dust bunnies out from under the bed so you can then vacuum them up. I also use a leaf blower to blow out the car instead of vacuuming it out. It is so much easier.

For the record, the money I make from sponsorships mostly pays bills, it didn’t go to this “makeover”😆❤️ just know that it’s a commercial, like when you watch tv or listen to a podcast. Your room is lovely but, again you do not use any colour. Please don't take that as a criticism, it's just something that I can't help but notice. I am a lover of colour, not in your face, just used as accessories in pictures, mats, blankets and throw pillows. Thank you for sharing all of these wonderful ideas.
