Absolutely beautiful..years ago there was a program on HGTV called Room by Room..a couple did 1 room each show. They put fabric on wall using starch and I thought it was amazing. Love the gingham checks ! When we moved 2 yes ago, my son and wife put my bed up and arranged furniture w/out asking and many times I've thought of changing it to what I liked, but no help from husband ..so it never got changed..still hoping. I bought expensive primitive curtains from a church sale, they retail for $98 a pair...love them..they are still on ironing board because no one will help me put them up...plus still have expensive primitive curtains I got from Goodwill in March for living room..still on ironing board too...😫. Women that have helpful husband's..don't know how lucky they are. Take care. Love your posts.

The gingham wall paper, pleated shades, blue and white pottery all looks like it came out of a Laura Ashley/ Ralph Lauren catalogue. So Cottage Core, my very favorite style. Your room looks beautiful. Fun fact, when I was going to college in San Francisco in the 80's I covered my walls with fabric in much the same way (I used a staple gun, so my attempt didn't look as good as your method) as a way to decorate my room. It was inexpensive as I got the fabric on clearance. This way I didn't ruin the paint that was there, but made everything cozy. It was a pale pink floral pattern. Thank you for showing us all of the steps. If you ever want to go with peel and stick wallpaper, I ordered mine from Amazon and did one wall of our bedroom and it looks amazing.
The only thing better than pattern in a room .... is pattern on pattern! Love the floral drapes with the checkered walls. Looks so charming and cozy. I'm sure that was a lot of work. But what incredible results! The bamboo shades adds such texture to the windows. I agree the berry paint was way to harsh with the softness of the walls. And the great rug under that gorgeous brass bed is perfection. What you have achieved in such a small space is pure class and comfort. Finally the blue and white pottery next to the tortoise clock is just the unexpected pop to complete the curated look. Love everything about this room!

I love love love the room...it is truly splendid...I have only one teeny tiny suggestion, and I don’t want it to be taken negatively..because I have been watching for years and years and always love everything that you do..absolutely everything..!!!! The one little change that I think would be refreshing would be to substitute the duck prints with some sort of floral..maybe something that looks like it came out of a botanical book..just something simple..I would keep the frames because the size is spot on and you could even just place the florals right on top of the duck pictures uNader the glass, so you could easily change it back in the future if you decided to. The ducks are great..they always have been..they fit into your home beautifully, I just think it would be nice to have a soft change there..but really do love the room..everything about it is so soft and comfortable and cozy and relaxing..there would never be anyone that wouldn’t walk into that room and say..YES..I want THIS bedroom..this is the feel I’m looking for..good job you two.❤️❤️ it’s really beautiful ❤️💪🏠👏🏻❤️
