I won’t lie but I do love the scenes that show that Frank and Marie do love each other.
Ita funny its sweet, my grandpa was like this. Old man from the old days, but he would sometimes show his love for his woman. Frank was from old school, he didnt show emotions but you knew he loved his family

@@round105 Lots of men have problems showing emotions. It has nothing to do with age or being old school. The clip is about a man and a woman loving each other. It is not about their family. Frank and Marie are the only people in this clip. What are you watching?

The way she looked up at him so vulnerable was amazing. I think she pulled on my heartstrings in this one. I miss her. I love this show
I love this scene, some men have a hard time showing their emotions because they don’t wanna be labeled as weak. Frank does love Marie but he has a hard time showing it around the family. A lot of his sense of humor & jokes rub off on Ray and you see Ray does it to Debra.
Frank really care about her and he truly loves her.
Sometimes, actions speaks louder than words.
I think that although Frank doesn’t show it so many ways he really does love her.

Aww love this scene! So sweet how he gently wipes off the cream of her face and basically saying you look better without it. That’s love right there.
If it weren't a TV show you'd think that they really were married.
Even with all the shit he puts her through, she still loves and stays with him.
My favorite was not getting the brakes fixed, running through Ray's house, then griping about the broken tail light!

This was such an important scene for me to watch growing up. To know they really do love each other, that Frank truely cares about Marie and no matter how much they bicker and argue he can’t stand to see his wife cry. Such a beautiful tender moment between them. I hope I have this when I’m their age.
The clip has nothing to do with their age. How is that an issue? It is about two people who love each other.
Peter Boyle should have won an Emmy for that episode.

Even if he said all that so Marie will leave him alone, I do feel like part of him did mean what he said. I think he deep down he might have realized with what happened with his tribute, that the only person he should blame is really himself. N his boys did try. I would like to think Frank really thought that. But who knows knowing Frank.
They are men, not boys. He loves his wife and she loves him. That is the reason people get married. They love each other. That is not hard to understand.
