The early 90s. Amonte was drafted by NYR,and was traded to Chicago in a three-way deal,in which Steve Larmer, among others, went to New York

Though he is not really featured or not particularly starring that much in this wholesome clip, Dom Hasek was certainly one of the greatest goaltenders in all of ice-hockey history. He was also a relative late-bloomer in pro hockey, and he was quite possibly the most determined goaltender in hockey history, so often making really unorthodox saves and often desperation saves.

Wild to me how long it took for nets to be placed at the ends of the rink.

As great a goalie as this guy was he was horrible for Hockey!
I met a police officer from the Czech Republic, he showed me his badge, both of us were on vacation in the DR and he said Hasek was hated in the Czech Rep! According to the Czech officer, Hasek was an ASSHOLE! I agreed!
"Dominik Hasek will not be charged with injuring a player during an in-line hockey game. Police began investigating Hasek after a May 18 game in Pardubice, Czech Republic. former NHL goaltender Dominik Hasek after he allegedly beat another player unconscious during a weekend in-line hockey game"
Apparently, according to the officer, Hasek bought his way out of being charged!
