Small world. I flew into Davenport for the first time in my Dakota, I heard a cowboy on the radio behind me on final and It was Chad. We met up at the FBO. I will just say I learned a lot. It was a honor to meet you Sir!
Thanks for the nice comment. To tell you the truth I really don't ever look at the panel mounted ipad so i usually just leave it off. I put it in the panel so my wife could watch a movie if she wanted to,or she could see exactly where we are in the flight.
@@dreamcatchercowboy Thank you sir! Reason I ask because I just dropped my 182 off for avionics upgrades and I am having the same mount on the copilots side for the same reason. (But i still have my mini6 also on the yoke as well).
yes sir I do and almost immediately after I verify oil pressure on startup. If you can get your hands on the newest engine manual for the o-540, the only time you need to be full rich mixture is 3 times. Cold start, full power take off, full power climb. Lycoming even says lean to best power setting during runup. Thanks for watching my videos and let me know if you have any more questions.

Happy Easter my friend!
Always love seeing your posts! You seem to always have the copilot mini blacked out or blurred out. Any particular reason?

How is that autopilot treating you these days, good sir?
