The president of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, has stated that he wants his country to be the "Singapore of Africa." Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Rwanda is currently undertaking a number of massive development projects. In today's video, we take a look at 9 Most impressive ongoing construction projects in Rwanda.

There is so much to admire about President Kagame and how he has taken Rwanda from an impoverished, war-torn, third-world country to the pinnacle diamond of Africa in only 25 years. All criticisms and accusations of corruption against this monumental giant of leadership can only be envy and small-minded arrogance since no similar examples of outstanding economic progress can be found anywhere historically in Europe or America.

A country like Rwanda after what she has been through ( genocide) needed a strong leader who is not less than the one they have today. A person who has a vision for his people's unity and econmic growth. President Kagame has down so much for his country more than many African countries who were on the spectators stand when his people were in trouble. South Africa is one of those though Mandela commented but could do nothing to have an impact on stopping the genocide. Now Rwanda is progressing and South Africa is regressing out poor handling of state own entities. A country's progress or regress depends on her leadership not how big your economy is. Africa must learn from Rwanda now not from the latter comparative state no matter how big is the latter's economy. A good leader who delivers should lead for life, l suppose, as long as his/ her people agree to that and there is no constitutional impediment. Africa needs good progressive leaders

3, During the 12million people massacre which was sponsored by the west, the Clinton administration and western corporations made so much money due to extraction of precious African resources! We are still having this looting in DRC due to the number one natural resource in the world in DRC.
4, Be Portuguese, USA, or other neocolonialists they take African resources by the tons and give a pinch to Africa in the name of aid and support for PR which ends up as a payment to their agents in Africa. There are so many Africuuns so called leaders and we will need to do some home cleaning in the corrupt African power structure! Kagame is defeated by western imperialism neocolonialism and white supermacy and turned in to an agent for the CIA. You can admire Rwanda and even Paul Kagame, without excusing his authoritarian style of governance or his stayism.
A ruler has 2 primary tasks:
    1. Manage the country
    2. Develop future leadership to replace the current leaders
By staying in power, Kagame is clearly admitting he had failed in the second task.
No matter how long, all humans live a finite number of years. Kagame has to develop and train his replacement. Else, all his tremendous successes could be wasted by an untrained leader who takes power after him.
This exact scenario had happened in many nations! One painful example is South Sudan, when Garang died suddenly, he left a disaster of poor leaders behind him. Soon, corruption took hold and a tribal war broke out.
Rwanda is the one remaining hope for a successful Africa. The long-term continuation of this African dream is up to Paul Kagame. I believe he will take this continent-wide responsibility seriously. He must soon select, nurture and mentor his successors now. Then allow the Rwandan electorate to choose the one they want to lead them in phase 2 of the Rwandan success story.
One Nelson Mandela is not enough. Would be nice to add Paul Kagame to this very short list. It is better to be remembered as the founder of a successful nation than as the president who ruled for life. The latter type are 10 a penny!
