You guys are definitely my favorite hunters to watch. The way you guys have fun out there and make a good time of it no matter what happens. You guys are an inspiration for younger hunters. So thank you.
Oh man!!! Sunny…..can climb the absolute heck outta the ice gentlemen. Big time!!! Retrieving that goose like a boss too G!! That’s a solid pup for sure
I'm sure you have already thought about this, but I wanted to remind you of the first time G was on geese (I think) with the Flyway Collective, and how frustrating it was to watch her struggle with them. Look at her now! Her retrieve on those first two were superb! You could see, on the first one, she wanted to bring it to YOU before Golden took it. Nice work Elliot!
Thank you so much for noticing Jeff. I absolutely did notice and we talked about it. She is obvoiusly a lot stronger at age two than age one. I was so pleased to see the ease in which she handled those geese!
Dogs and ice don't mix. I hope and pray you never have to learn that lesson the hard way like I did 35 years ago. Ice conditions constantly change and what appears safe at one time may not be an hour later. It was one of the most painful lessons in my entire life. His name was Tuffy. The best dog I ever owned.
I'm sorry you had to live through that experience Thomas. We discussed the ice alot. The retrive was close to the water line, and we had a kayak with axe.
What do you have rattle traps for ducks out and ya assed out? You guys need to stick to carp and coots lol. Kiddin, but damn. Give ‘em a chance. We don’t ever ground or pound over land on our birds.
im jealous you guys can say you want to shoot hooded mergs!!!! thats one of my dream birds to get mounted!!!!. ive only seen 2 and they were in Town limits LOL
At 10:24 that goose is still alive. Literally hate watching cripples struggle like that. For fuck sake give it a finishing headshot. Super fucked up making it sit there and suffer bleeding out
BULLSHIT. see i can use caps lock too. You can clearly see it make an attempt to move slightly right before Georgie grabbed it off the ice. Rewatch the retrieve and realize that its paralyzed and bleeding out on the ice. The rule is if its head is up put it down. Stupid yankees😂
I can take constructive critisism but i dont listen to those who act like assholes. Learn how to give feedback in a way where people might actually listen to you.
Damn you guys can call geese though I’ll give ya that. Darn good dog too! Is her name “Hummer?”…..you had sure as hell have some peanut butter for her! She’s a solid lab! I have a yellow that is freaking his 95lb ass out so hard watching this video
We never see Hoodies here. I have seen only one or two, and never harvested one. Commons, on the other hand, are just that....very common. No self-respecting duck hunter in our area would dare shoot a common. Garbage bird. Although they are very pretty with the exception of their bills. Great content...keep it up.
Hi, could I have your email so I can get in touch with you for business inquiries? Because I tried the email you put in the description and it's invalid. Thank you in advance if you actually see and reply to this!!
Let's appreciate the amount of time it took him to copy, paste, and type the description.

Your pup has some serious drive. She looks good man.

Nice sized Honks right there. They work good over water.

Georgie is one tough little Dog. That was a good hunt Elliot
It is a true pleasure to watch Georgie retrieve. Great hunt!
Thank you! As her trainer I just hope I can do do her justice.
@@FreelanceDuckHunting From this guy's perspective, you have done right by her.
Have never seen a dog climb up onto the ice like that. Nice work G!
Awesome job guys!
Give those Merg fearhers to fly fisherman for tying flies. Make beautiful flies.

It's cool Elliot
Awesome dog work, she wanted that goose!
Yes she did! Girl has serious desire
I’m even scared for the game warden sneakin through the bush! G would retrieve him or her for sure, but damn dogs!!
Ya g is a great dog by the way.....drive like crazy
Your hunting is really interesting, I want to go hunting there too ...
Right on guys
when ducks and geese are under 30 yards, i like using a 410ga, it's a great challenge,
Mmmmmmmm!!! Time for some Merg-loaf!!!!
That’s the breakfast of champions!
Awesome video, I’m not much for the mergs but was a very cool video!!! Awesome day for y’all, Hope y’all keep getting after them!
Merganzers prey of salmon smolts out here in WA, so the saying always goes, "kill a merganzer, save a salmon". Only on the slow days though.
Can’t imagine what you rock for variegated woodpecker‘s, Barn swallows, or kangaroos if they showed up lol?
I'm very entertained...
Good times!!!
Where are you hunting??
Stupid question😂
Ya, I guess I should’ve said what state
Southwestern Dakobraskarkanslifornia

Put them big birds on the smoker!

Good call not sending the dog for that third bird... Ice can tear a dog up quick.
there both divers
Going to have to respectfully disagree with you on ANY Merganser. They eat fish and that means they taste horrible.
Who ground and pounds guys! Especially on mergs. That’s weak
Ick merc’s taste like liver
