I’d say it happened shortly after Mail escaped the Venator since getting Sith artefacts seems to be the kind of thing you should do as quickly as possible since it’s the most obvious path to power and you should get them before Sidious could.
all Jedi who die become one with the force, but the question is whether they can maintain their individuality, or if they are spread out and diffused. dead Jedi who don't have their individuality can still affect events, but only very subtly, and "the force" is actually made up of all the spirits of the beings who have ever died.
The difference is that all dead beings join the Cosmic Force, which in turn influences the Living Force! But the Jedi like Qui-Gon who learned to maintain the consciousness and retain their individuality in the Living Force can manifest physically and speak to the living.
@Retneysholocron, since Anakin was able to become a force ghost after he died despite having long been under the influence of the dark side, is there a possibility that Maul having died with a kind of remorse toward Obi-Wan, that he too could become a force ghost?
@@keithtorgersen9664 I don't think so, since Maul never learned how to do it. You have to be trained. In Legends, Obi-Wan taught Anakin how to maintain his consciousness as he died. In canon, Anakin was able to maintain his consciousness by his sheer power of will and strength in the Force as the Chosen One, without training. But Maul could not do that.
Qui Gon: I think it’s time you for you to rethink your life choices Maul: haha I (narrowly) beat you in a duel 30 years ago… even though I kinda had to cheat and you were almost 40 years older than I was
Maul did not cheat. And if you read the book qui gon admits maul is more powerful than himself and obi wan at that time. Also qui gon acknowledged maul was leading him and obi wan to a place of his own choosing, and qui gon could do nothing but keep pushing. Maul outplayed qui gon big time.
Qui Gon is closer to a Disciple or Wiseman of The Bible than the Space Jesus that Anakin is, as while he was more wise than Anakin and was powerful in The Force, he (Qui-Gon) wasnt of The Force like Anakin was, much like how Jesus was the physical manifestation of the Christian God unlike, say, John who could perform miracles but wasnt a manifestation of God, just tapping in to the power.
Imagine quigon giving maul knowledge of becoming a force ghost. With mauls strong will to live and strong abilities in the force making him able to survive a, near, fatal injury makes me think maul may have been close to unlocking this ability in some way. Like maul tapped into the light side of the force without knowing it. At any rate, i see maul was given a key to immortality but instead chose the here and now for revenge.
I feel like qui gon is the type of person to try help his enemy, qui gon is a flawed person but easily the most compassionate Jedi.
That would make for a rather INTERESTING conversation...
Qui Gon’s compassionate is the best trait he’s ever got.
It is in character for Qui'Gon, at least
So a Sith lived on a planet called Damanos. How’s the pizza there?

You can skip "What's going on guy, welcome back to another video", LOL
No, that's rude. WELCOME BACK
Why would he skip that part? Should he skip saying May the Force be with You at the end?
Maul used Force Ghost in Rebels Series. Though why he didn't create clones for them is beyond me
It may or may not have been Qui Gon but either way it told Maul the truth.

I wonder if after his death in tatoine maul accepted quigonn's offer or at least can able to reunited with his family in the underworld of the force.

Why isn't Qui Gon considered the Chosen One. He is certainly a catalyst
He had a mother and a father. The chosen one was born from the force.
The prophecy specifically says that the chosen one will be born of no father
