      Sis I drink a ton of green tea why doesn't this help? I have a shower filter and my hair was just falling.
      What I did was add light protein to my shampoo and dc. I also upped my protein in my diet.

    You're right about getting a shower filter. Last year, my hair was shedding and tangling and upon research, I realized it was my water. We installed a shower filter and my hair is no longer shedding and breaking and tangling. Too bad I didn't realize sooner my fine, high porosity hair is now sparse.

    TGIN leave in with the white label. I have 4c, high porosity hair, it moistures my hair so effortlessly my hair literally slips thru my fingers. I also LOVE Decca plus Scalp Therapy too😉

    What I love most about your channel is how you give in-depth explanations that aren't overly technical. The videos about the scalp have been of particular interest because I don't think I show my scalp enough love. I also think I've been told a bit of misinformation on what should and shouldn't go on my scalp. Can you do a video on what ingredients are good for the hair, scalp, or both? It never occurred to me that some products that don't work could be because I'm not applying them properly.

      Hi Tennille, which filter did you get?

    • @Nille0212
      @Nille0212 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@deebeedeee I don't remember the name of it, but I got it on Amazon. (I'm disabled and have chronic pain, and today is not a good pain day so I can't get up to go see right now. I'm sorry about that). It's a 15 stage filtration system. You attach it to the existing shower head. I didn't want to replace mine with another on because I have two shower heads in one and I couldn't find another one like that with a filter for a good price. It's easy to attach, and changing the actual filter is easy. It lasts about a year. You can tell when it needs to be replaced because the water doesn't feel soft and your skin is drier when you get out of the shower. That's the only way I can describe the water. It's a smoother feeling when it's on your skin. My skin's much softer and I have an all-over glow nw that I'm using a water filter too. So the benefits are from head-to-toe for me! I get compliments all the time about how "soft" I feel when people touch my skin. I've always had really soft skin, but it's like touching really good satin now. I'm not bragging, but I'm just saying how much I've benefitting from the water filter over the last 2 1/2, almost 3 years. I decided in December 2019 that in January 2020 I was going to start my hair journey again. So I cut all the damage off (over half of my hair's length😱😱😱) on 12/31/2019, and got all the tools and products I need in December to begin on 1/1/2020. And my hair's grown about 18 inches from where it was. Everyone thinks I'm wearing headband wigs, but I wear headbands because this Texas heat and humidity doesn't mix with menopause and I sweat from my head HORRIBLY, so the headband's there to catch it from rolling down my face. 🤣🤣🤣
      I'm getting my bathroom remodeled in January and I'm having a filtration system installed for the whole house so all the water is filtered in every sink and bathroom. That way if I can't get back in the shower to rinse my deep conditioner out, I'll still have filtered water in my kitchen sink and my hair's still getting the benefits from it.
      Sorry this is so long. I'm long-winded and I don't like to be redundant so I explain everything in detail the 1st time to prevent it lol. Have a great day love. 😊😊😊♥️♥️♥️

    • @deebeedeee
      @deebeedeee ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for your detailed response. I really appreciate that. I will go on Amazon now and check for an affordable one. I’m really glad your skin and hair have been flourishing! I’ve had long hair for a few years now, but I moved to a new apartment and by hair has been breaking and shedding like crazy, so I think it’s the water. I hope to have a complete filtration system when I have my own house, but for now I’ll have to get the shower filter. Thanks again for your response, and happy remodeling!

    Wait! Hole-up! Before anything else, I've got to say, your hair is AMAZING! It always looks beautiful, but you took it up a level. "Inquiring minds want to know." Anyway, I've experienced a lot of shedding for the past few months, with no unusual stress. Started green tea rinses a few washes ago and added Jasmine tea to the mix after watching one of your videos a couple of weeks prior to this one. It's really working well. My hair is still shedding but not nearly as much. Thanks so much for sharing some of your vast knowledge. We all love you.

    My hair is bleached - any potential negative impacts of green tea rinses. My hair is in good condition, but I do have a little excess shedding at times due to age & lupus. Also trying to manage my work related stress. But figured greens tea couldn’t hurt as long as it doesn’t hurt my hair color

    Green tea is the truth and I add a bit of ACV to my Green Tea rinse to balance the pH and for my scalp health as well. I also alternative using the Black tea and Coffee rinse as well. They are all so amazing when it comes to reducing excessive hair shedding. I love love Dr Berg he is so knowledgeable and a blessing to humanity. I have been following him for a while now and I have learnt a lot from him. Thank you so much for all you share.

      You use this as your last rinse after conditioner?

    • @freda4882
      @freda4882 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@liliwms508 I use the tea after I shampoo , use the tea then apply my conditioner on top of the tea and put on my plastic shower cap and sit under my steamer for about 30 - 45 minutes then rise all that out and apply my leave in conditioner and style my hair. I use a cream, oil then a hair butter and grease. Green tea can be drying to my hair so I use it as a spritz once a week then the other days I just spritz with water. If your high porosity you can use it more often. I also mix my teas up on wash day. Sometimes I use just str8 hibiscus 🌺. Depends on what my hair needs.
